Ονομάζομαι Μάρθα Καλάνα και είμαι απόφοιτος του Τμήματος Ψυχολογίας του Πανεπιστημίου Κρήτης (2008). Έχω ολοκληρώσει Μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στη Συμβουλευτική στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Εδιμβούργου (2010) καθώς και στη Δικανική Ψυχολογία, στο Πανεπιστήμιο UCLan Cyprus (2022). Έχω επίσης εκπαιδευτεί στη Διαχείριση του τραύματος, στη Διαπαιδαγώγηση παιδιών και Εφήβων, στη Συμβουλευτική ζευγαριών και οικογένειας και στη Διαχείριση του Διαζυγίου, στο Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών (2015-2018). Έχω άδεια ασκήσεως επαγγέλματος ψυχολόγου τόσο στην Ελλάδα (αρ: 6561), όσο και στην Κύπρο (αρ: 846). Εργάστηκα στο Σύνδεσμο για την Πρόληψη και Αντιμετώπιση της Βίας στην Οικογένεια ως Λειτουργός του Χώρου Φιλοξενίας θυμάτων ενδοοικογενειακής βίας και στο Hope for Children ως Οικογενειακή Σύμβουλος, στο Σπίτι του Παιδιού, το οποίο διαχειρίζεται υποθέσεις σεξουαλικής κακοποίησης ανηλίκων. Εργάστηκα επίσης στον τομέα της Προληπτικής Εργασίας και Στήριξης Οικογενειών με Ανήλικα στις Υπηρεσίες Κοινωνικής Ευημερίας. Στην παρούσα φάση εργάζομαι στο Συμβουλευτικο σταθμό Οδυσσέας, ο οποίος βρίσκεται κάτω από την ομπρέλα του ΚΕΝΘΕΑ και παρέχω υπηρεσίες αξιολόγησης και θεραπείας σε εξαρτημένα άτομα. Επίσης είμαι συνεργάτης στο Compass Psychotherapy and Social Support Centre και παρέχω υπηρεσίες ψυχοθεραπείας και προσωπικής ανάπτυξης. Οι Υπηρεσίες παρέχονται είτε πρόσωπο με πρόσωπο, είτε διαδικτυακά. Είμαι ένα άτομο με σύγχρονες και προοδευτικές ιδέες, ανοικτό στο διάλογο και στις εναλλακτικές

Welcome. Many of us find ourselves, at some point in our lives, feeling overwhelmed and in need of support. During these difficult times, therapy can provide an invaluable lifeline. For other people, therapy is an opportunity for personal growth.  Psychotherapy offers an opportunity to engage in a meaningful relationship with someone who is non-judgemental, and provides a safe, supportive environment that remains consisten, beyond whatever else is going on in your life.  I am qualified as an integrative psychotherapist, which means I draw on a variety of schools of thought and methodologies, including relational psychoanalysis, object relations, gestalt, attachment theory, the transpersonal approach, body psychotherapy, person centred therapy, and CBT. We are a private clinic comprising of a group of highly qualified Psychologist/ Psychotherapists specialising in dealing with a variety of psychological, emotional and interpersonal issues. We are accredited members of the European Association of Psychotherapy and The British Association of Psychotherapy and Counselling. We are dealing among others with depression, addictions, phobias and OCD, eating disorders and obesity counselling, sexuality, personality disorders, couple therapy, family therapy, EMDR trauma therapy. After so many years of work experience and advanced training, we are eclectic in our approach, tailoring our therapy to our client and the problems that he/she needs to resolve. We use a variety of therapeutic approaches and tools stemming from  Person Centre Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, EMDR Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.
