Chris Worsfold is a Chartered Physiotherapist with 20 years active clinical, educational and research experience specialising in the treatment of aches, pains and injuries.
Following graduation as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 1987, Chris went on to obtain a Master of Science degree from the University of Southampton in 1992, studying low back pain. Further clinical and research work, and his first publication in the British Journal of General Practice followed this.
He spent the following years studying and working in London, including a 2-year post as Senior Research Physiotherapist in the Division of Clinical Developmental Sciences at St George’s University of London.
He has published original papers in peer reviewed Medical and Physiotherapy Journals including Physiotherapy, Age & Aging and Clinical Rehabilitation. He has also had papers presented at both national and international conferences including the Scientific Meeting of the Society for Research in Rehabilitation, the Annual Conference of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and the Congress of the International Association of Gerontology.
In recent years he has enjoyed a return to clinical work and has attained membership of the Manipulation Association of Chartered Physiotherapists, of which there are only 600 in the United Kingdom, having achieved a recognised standard of excellence as a clinician following a period of extensive post-graduate study at the University of Brighton. He obtained distinctions in all his essay coursework.
Chris also works as an Expert Witness and recently obtained the Certificate of Expert Witness Accreditation run jointly by Bond Solon Legal Training and Cardiff University.
He is registered with the Health Professions Council and is fully recognised by all the major health insurance companies.
