I really don't know what I would do without herCarole, UK, 22 04 20

I can't put into words how amazing Tara is at the Lansdown Clinic in Stroud. I first met Tara just over a year ago after having an arthritic flare up in my spine. After a thorough consultation Tara massaged my back and gently manipulated it followed by acupuncture. Within weeks the freedom of movement I had was the best I had experienced for years. Tara took time to explain every stage of my treatment. I really don't know what I would do without her. She has an amazing sense of humour and cares passionately about all of her patients.

I was given a very thorough and professional examination the therapistAnonymous, Cyprus, 20 04 18

I had problems with my knees which were causing me to be "careful" exercising. I wanted to make sure there was nothing serious going on and that I would cause no more damage skiing. I was given a very thorough and professional examination by Sarah, and some massage, together with some exercises, which have helped considerably. Excellent and thoroughly. Recommend.

Reassured me and massage and exercise have relieved the symptomsLesley, UK, 09 05 21

I suffer from occasional back pain - not generally severe but recurrent. In March, during the lockdown, I suffered a bout of pain in my back and knee that was keeping me awake at night and called the clinic (which I have visited before). A single consultation two days later (with all of the proper safety measures in place) reassured me and massage and exercise have relieved the symptoms. It's a great reassurance to know that I can get an appointment quickly with the person I want to see and get the treatment I need - while enjoying a chat about farming and the cultivation of apple (or was it plum?) trees.

We can use specific screening tests toassess biomechanical alignment and find areas of weakness around the pelvis, spine and nervous system. We then use simple yet effectiveexercises that you can then perform at home to improve specific areas flaggedfrom your assessment results. This means you can actually improve the alignmentof your spine and pelvis at home! Other screening tests may be performed on theupper and lower limb to get a full picture of your biomechanics and the way youmove. When the imbalances have beenaddressed and improved, we then use further stages to make this last. We lookto stabilise your biomechanical improvement by using specific core stabilityexercises and gradually re-introduce functional movements and exercises whenready. This process can prevent injuries fromoccurring or re-occurring, improve performance and help you to move moreefficiently.
