Biomechanical assessment (30 mins)

Everyone moves differently.  We are all vastly different shapes and sizes, doing a wide variety of sports and activities every day, and we all fall into bad habits!  We can check your weaknesses and your limitations as well as play to your strengths.  In this 30 minute session we can help you identify where you need to work, and start to show you how to maximise your strengths without risking injury.

For Golfers, we can analyse why you get your aches and pains, and help you maximise your current swing, or help you eliminate areas where you are putting your body at risk.

Mrs Jane Marr

Job Title:

Jane Marr BSc Physiotherapy, MSc Neuromusculoskeletal Rehab.

Jane Marr MCSP I qualified in 1992 from the Middlesex Hospital School of Physiotherapy and subsequently worked at the London Hospital and Northwick Park Hospital, before doing an MSc in Neuromusculoskeletal rehabilitation at UCL in 1997-98 entitling me to membership of the Manipulative Association of Chartered Physiotherapists. Later I spent time treating clients at Marks and Spencer in London, St Georges Hospital, Tooting and in various private practices. Recently I have moved to Colchester and had two beautiful girls in three years away from work. I enjoy all aspects of physiotherapy, but have a particular interest in treating work related upper limb disorders, doing workstation assessments and sports injuries, having worked with Olympic level athletes in the past.

Mr Craig Fowlie

He is a consultant for the Governments Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme and has published and presented research in the Journal of Physiotherapy and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy Annual Conference. Miss Sara Vicente Gabeiras

Job Title:
  English, Spanish

I'm from Vigo, a little city in the north of Spain. I've always been a very independent and adventurous person, and as I've always had a big interest in English culture, I decided to move here in order to continue my professional career.

I'm very motivated and committed to my continued professional development. After completing my physiotherapist grade in Madrid in 2007 I carried on broading my horizons doing an Orthopedic Manual Therapy Masters Degree and specialising myself in Neurology, Acupuncture and Pilates.  I've had the opportunity to gain professional experience through working in different areas of physiotherapy at hospitals and private clinics. A key element of my professional practice is to offer a specialized and personalized treatment to each patient, which I always strive to do.

I defend a healthy lifestyle and according to that I spend most of my free time outdoors and playing a wide variety of sports.
