IPTAS Student Clinic Limerick

The Student Clinic takes place on Monday evenings at the Priory Clinic, Penthouse Suite, Cornmarket Square, Limerick. Call us or email for details. There are reduced-cost appointments available to patients between 5.00 pm and 8.00 pm at €20.

Students, who are in their final year of their degree course in Physical Therapy and Applied Health Science, treat patients in the student clinic. All students are supervised by a fully qualified Physical Therapist. Patients attend with a wide variety of problems, which gives students a good grounding in general practice.

CLINIC APPOINTMENTS Student Clinic appointments are available by calling. An initial visit usually involves a thorough history taking and assessment followed by a short treatment. Subsequent visits involve a shorter assessment and a more substantial treatment. In the event that a patient needs to change between therapists, the file will be given to the new therapist who will also be fully briefed on the condition.
