While on vacation I was experiencing muscle pain and stiffness and decided to go for a message. I booked one at Village Physiotherapy but after discussing my concerns with Niall, I ended up getting a combination of manual manipulation and dry needling. Niall’s focus on my specific needs and offer to adapt treatment, to better target my problem areas was greatly appreciated and far more effective than my original plan. Very pleased with the treatment and Niall’s pleasant, effective approach.

Anne O'Malley graduated from the School of Physiotherapy at Trinity College Dublin. She worked in the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Dublin before moving to England, where she worked in a variety of public and private settings as a basic grade and senior physiotherapist. I have attended this clinic over the past 2 years and I always find the service top class. I suffer from neck and shoulder pain and I receive dry needling which I find works best for me. Ashing is the name of the lady I attend and she is always very professional and makes me feel at ease each visit. I would highly recommend a visit here if you're in pain 😊

Comprehensive assessment and manual/modalities treatment may include spinal/joint mobilisation, soft or deep tissue massage, trigger points, stretching, Fasciatherapy, Bobath, PNF, Neuro-Developmental Techniques, Curapuls, electrotherapy, electrostimulation...  We also provide biomechanical and orthotic assessments. If needed, provision of a personal exercise program is included at no charge. A wide range of custom orthotic insoles starting at only 65 euros for adults and 35 eoros for children is also available at our clinic.

This technique is used to stretch tense muscles and relieve contractures, and can be painful.Deep tissue massage focuses on realigning deeper layers of muscles and connective tissue. It uses mostly the same strokes as in classic massage therapy, with slower movement and deeper pressure, concentrated on areas of tension and pain.
