Excellent Care for Back Pain

I came to this clinic with persistent back pain that had been getting worse from long hours of studying, and I honestly couldn’t believe the improvement after just a few visits. The physio was extremely knowledgeable, the clinic is lovely and provides a calm atmosphere.

I went to this physio clinic with ongoing neck pain that had been bothering me for ages, and the difference after a few sessions has been incredible. The physio was so attentive and really took the time to understand what was going on. Their knowledge and professionalism were obvious from the moment the assessment began.

What really stood out was how clearly everything was explained. I finally understood what was causing the pain. The treatment itself was excellent, and the combination of hands-on work and targeted techniques gave me huge relief.

I also really appreciated the practical advice I was given about my workplace setup and how to improve my sleeping position. Those small changes have helped so much more than I expected.

My neck feels better than it has in a long time, and I’m very grateful for the care I received. A fantastic clinic with people who genuinely know what they’re doing!

Concussion

I visited this clinic after struggling with dizziness and balance issues following a concussion, and the care I received was exceptional. The physio was incredibly thorough and took the time to really understand my symptoms and how they were affecting my daily life. Their knowledge of concussion rehab was so reassuring — I felt like I was finally in the right hands.

The assessment was detailed and precise, and everything was explained in a calm, clear way that made me feel much more at ease. The treatment and exercises they gave me were exactly what I needed, and I started to notice improvements sooner than I expected.

They also showed me techniques to manage the dizziness and gave great advice about pacing myself and easing back into normal activities safely. It made the whole recovery process feel far less overwhelming.

I’m now feeling so much more stable and confident again. I can’t thank them enough — a truly excellent clinic with real expertise in concussion rehabilitation.

I got a 1 hr lower back pain assessment and treatment from Ethan in Sandycove Physio this week. The clinic is a very calm and relaxing space. The session was focused, thorough and personalised and identified the problem areas. The dry needling and massage work was very professional. Ethan emailed on really clear videos of all the exercises for me to do, which are really helpful for reminding me how to do them properly at home. I would highly recommend this clinic.

I have been treated several times by Aine O'Neill for severe chronic pain. Before I had tried many other treatments and medicines without success. Not only did the treatment (dry needling in my care) help immediately, but Aine also genuinely cares and sympathies with her patients. Highly recommended!

vestibular rehabilitation

I first attended this clinic about two and a half years ago. Then I was having one to one treatment for vestibular rehabilitation. I found all the staff very professional and also very sympathetic and supportive. I was terrified of what the future held for me because of the symptoms I was having, but slowly and steadily with the treatments and exercises I am vastly improved. I am so grateful to Aine and her team that I feel so well and can enjoy life again. I look forward every week to the exercise class which reinforces coordination, balance, and muscle strengthening. The team at Sandycove do their work in a lovely friendly atmosphere.

I started attending Sandycove Physiotherapy after several head operations in '04 & '05. Aine had been recommended by Professor Niall Tubridy.

When I first started I could hardly walk & my balance was nil. Each session comprised 5 mins exercise followed by nearly an hours rest! I attended on a regular basis until I steadily got back to full health.
