Intial treatment as a new patient will last up to one hour (£40). Follow up treatments will be £38 for half an hour. A detailed medical history will be taken before any treatment is commenced. If you are taking any medications, please have the names to hand on your first appointment. Loose clothing such as jogging bottoms or shorts are ideal during treatments. All our osteopaths are professionally qualified and will ensure your treatment is tailored to your specific needs. Registered Osteopath  Cost of initial treatment is. €65.Allow one hour Follow up treatment cost is €60.allow 40mins Cost for Children, OAP or unwaged is €50 During your initial consultation,your Osteopath will take a full case history of your current symptoms, your past medical history and your general health. These questions will help to establish the cause of your pain and any areas of the body that may be contributing factors. EXAMINATION:Your Osteopath will carry out a detailed physical examination of the whole body.This will include a postural assessment,testing of joint mobility and standard medical tests (  if necessary).you may be asked to remove some items of clothes for the examination, so wear appropriate underwear/ bring short or leggings or wear a track suit. DIAGNOSIS: A diagnosis will be discussed with you during this initial consultation.This should include an explanation of the structure that is causing your pain. ( eg muscle, ligament ,disc, nerve etc TREATMENT:Osteopathy is a form of manual therapy; the hands on treatment may include massage ,stretching, mobilisation and \or manipulation. Most osteopathic treatment is gentle and should not cause undue discomfort.   If your injuries do require hands on treatment of painful and tender areas , your osteopath will exercise care to make you as comfortable as possible.                                                          Some people experience mild soreness for a day or two after treatment, similar to that felt after mild exercise SYMPTOMATIC RELIEF : Everybody, and everyones's cause of pain is different,  but generally you would expect to see some changes in your symptoms after one or two visits.         Some long term or chronic conditions may require a longer or more frequent treatment. Treatment may involve a number of therapies being applied. Such as; soft tissue massage, manipulation, acupuncture and physiotherapy machine treatments this can take from 30mins to 2 hours depending on the type & severity of the presenting condition.

Dependant on the review of the presenting condition and the diagnosis, prices & times will differ and range from between £65 for a 1st consultation plus treatment -approx 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours hoursmins to £42 for subsequent appointments - this may go down to £25 for half an hour.
