Our mission is to provide the highest standard ofosteopathic care so that all our patients have a positive experience.  We take time to listen to your needs because  we understand that experiencing pain or injury can be very stressful. Why choose us?   Our priority is to restore your health quickly andempower you with the ability to manage and ultimately preventfurther problems.  We achieve this through clinical experience and continual processional development.  What is Osteopathy? It is a system of diagnosis and treatment for a wide range of medical conditions.  It works with the structure and function of the body, and is based on the principle that the well-being of an individual depends on the skeleton, muscles, ligaments and connective tissues functioning smoothly together.    An osteopath believes that in order for your body to work well, its structure must also work well.  So osteopaths aim to restore your body to a state of balance, where possible without the use of drugs or surgery.    Professionalism and Safety In order to qualify asan osteopath, one muststudy for four or five years for an undergraduate degree, which is similar to amedical degree just with more emphasis on anatomy and musculoskeletalmedicine.  There is over 1,000 hours of training in osteopathic techniquealone!  In the UK Osteopaths, by law mustregister with the General Osteopathic Council (or GOsC for short) whichsets and promotes high standards of competency, conduct and safety.
