I was very nervous about my appointment. After speaking to the doctor and the staff, I was soon at ease. Everything was fully explained and the operation went very smooth. Within a couple of hours my eye settled, I was amazed by the difference it made. Money well spent and I would highly recommend this clinic.

I was so nervous because having obesity surgery is really dangerous. But the hospital, doctors and whole Medassist team was extremely helpful. They didn’t leave me alone and took care of everything.

I had a BBL with Dr. Ersin Gonullu at Clinic Wise 12 days ago and I want to say that my experience from beginning to end (and still ongoing as I’m in recovery) has been EXCEPTIONAL. While my results aren’t final as I my surgery was very recent, my experience with the whole Clinic Wise team were amazing, a big thank you to Dr. Ersin, my coordinator Cleo, nurses Burcu & Fatma, assistants Rumeysa & Şafak and everyone else! I was very nervous since it was my first surgery and I was doing it alone but they all made me feel safe, cared for and well informed. Dr. Ersin even held my hand when I was on the operating bed because I was so so nervous, they were really so kind! Everything is very well organised from start to finish, with the transfers, great hotel, nurse visits and the hospital where they perform the surgery (Acibadem) is the best private hospital in Turkey. Cleo kindly answered to my million questions about the surgery prior to booking and Dr. Ersin was very calm and ensured natural results (natural results was a very important factor for me). There’s no denying that the BBL surgery isn’t an easy surgery, it’s a major surgery, it was tough mentally for me, I didn’t have much pain because they ensure you have enough meds for that, no matter what surgeon you choose the surgery isn’t an easy one but the team at clinic wise will make the whole experience as smooth as possible. I will attach a before op photo and 9 days post op photo. Since its only 9 days after, the results aren’t final but so far I’m extremely happy with the results. FYI, I had lipo on my stomach, back, arms, armpits, inner thigh and chin, I wanted to create a natural bum and some shape on the hips. I’m considered a ‘skinny’ patient which is more challenging for surgeons but Dr. Ersin is extremely skilled and experienced and I believe he did a very good job. Advice for people travelling to Istanbul to do a BBL, I would extend your stay at the hotel a few days more before flying home, I stayed 6 days post op, but the flight home was very uncomfortable, my legs were extremely bruised and swollen so sitting on the bbl pillow for a 3 hour flight was painful. I would advise patients to extend their stay a few days extra, that would be ideal in my opinion. My quote was 5750€ + 500€ For extra lipo areas, which I added 3, so the total was around 7,250€. (That includes, hotel, all transfers, Fajas, compression wear, lipo boards etc)

After 20 years of using contact lenses can only describe the feeling as liberating, best I ever done for myself! Hospital is clean and modern, quite high standards. An organisation can be better or want to believe was only in my case, but have to address this if my feedback can improve services as I had a feeling talking to different people to organize my stay that made me feel quite uneasy. Hotel is just across the street, nice and clean comfortable rooms. Dr Dilek is absolutely amazing! Thank you for looking after me, I'm glad I have done it finally after long consideration, only regrets I have is why I haven't done it earlier! Would I recommend the clinic - definitely yes! I am a doctor who is working with the NHS in the UK. I am 43 years old and had myopia for 34 years. I also had astigmatism and presbyopia for the past two years. My myopia was around -7.5 and my presbyopia was near + 1 for both eyes. I was struggling to read books and also in my work. On top of that, I started having headaches. I had used contact lenses but it was quite cumbersome to use. Even though a doctor, I thought that LASIK was only for myopia and my eyes won't fit in for that. This was partly due to a doctor's advice 10 years before I got that LASIK only works for myopes. But I found more information from the internet and I checked the prices in the UK and it was quite high. I found out that similar procedures were available in Eastern Europe and Turkey. I found a few clinics from the what-if clinic website. Nisantasi had contacted me through one of their representatives in the UK who gave me quite reliable information about the different types of LASIK. I was soon convinced about the procedure and the doctor because the person who gave me the information had undergone LASIK at Nisantasi. That was quite reassuring for me although my friends in the UK tried to dissuade me due to uncertainty of medical treatment in Turkey. But I made up my mind as the information provided to me was more than marketing. Even though it was covid the hospital was much concerned about my arrival. I had a smooth landing in Turkey and I was astonished by the hospital which displayed state of the art cleanliness. I do agree that only a few of them could handle fluent English. But they were quite efficient in relaying necessary information and getting consent from me. The eye doctor, Oktay Kumral, was a very cool person who made me feel at ease and to my surprise, he had practised ophthalmology in the UK. The ophthalmology techs were charmingly nice to behave and supportive at their best. The procedure Presbyopia LASIK smart laser eye treatment was done within a few minutes and I had redness and irritation for 6 hours. But the eye drops relieved a major part of my discomfort. My distant vision was okay that evening that I could stroll through Istanbul that night. The next day I even visited the blue mosque. I had bought an extra pair of eyedrops as I traveled back to UK. But my near vision hadn't improved and I was finding it hard to read my phone. In the next three months my eyes went through a lot of changes. I had intermittent blurring and I was scared about my eyes. But the representative in the UK reassured me that all these changes happen and it may take at least 6 months to stabilise. Today almost 110 days have passed and I am quite pleased to tell you that my near vision has also become normal and I am typing this message from my android phone. My suggestion for you is to have two or three pairs of +1, +2 glasses as it may take some time for your near vision to improve. This will help you for a few days in the near vision till it gets sorted. In almost 2 months my near vision was 90% okay. Also, buy a set of eyedrops extra as you may have itching 2-4 weeks after the procedure. I am so thankful to all the staff at Nisantasi and I can confidently vouchsafe the LASIK procedure which is the best with regards to price and quality. They do what they tell!
