I came from the UK for eye surgery in Antalya, Turkey. I’m 53 years old and have worn prescription eyeglasses for the past 20 years. I came across Era Goz Eye Hospital in Turkey through social media. They are so professional from start to finish. The hospital has the best and modern technology for eye testing prior to the procedure. Dr. Selim with his expertise, is very in depth, precise and has all the patience with me, being a very nervous patient. A few hours after the operation, my vision improved dramatically, and the best part is I am now “Eyeglasses Free.” Instantly, I acquired a 20/20 vision. Amazing and works like magic… I have a very high regard and cannot praise Era Goz Eye hospital enough for the treatment they provided me. To all the staffs, drivers, AJ, Ali Hakan and Dr. Selim – they all worked as a team to deliver the highest patient satisfaction in keeping me at ease and comfortable. I made the best decision to have my eye surgery with Era Goz. As AJ once said, I am in a “great hands.” Again, Thank you so much everyone! I had LASIK surgery at this hospital and couldn’t be happier. I chose Dr. Bahadir because Djidda, the coordinator, was very informative, reassuring, and quick to respond. My LASIK procedure went very well, with only a couple of hours of expected discomfort afterward. When we arrived, after speaking with Dr. Bahadir, my dad decided to have lens replacement surgery. My mum also wanted to, but after consultation and tests, Dr. Bahadir advised against it, and we appreciated his honesty and transparency. Djidda accompanied us throughout the process, translating and assisting, which was extremely helpful. It was also very reassuring to have our surgeries at Antalya’s largest and most well-known private hospital. The service was excellent, and the VIP taxis were a wonderful touch. Even now that we are back home, both Dr. Bahadir and Djidda are available to contact, so we can call or message them with any questions. My experience was so positive that I have some friends now looking into going as well. Highly recommended!

The surgery was painless and took around 20 minutes, he spoke me through the whole process and constantly reassured me and checked to make sure I was feeling ok throughout the procedure. I remember after the surgery, I stood up and he cleaned my eyes exactly the way you'd expect a caring family member to look after you. This small but attentive gesture made me feel safe. I returned to have my second eye done and the experience was exactly the same, the whole team are so nice. I would recommend Dr Dogan to anyone who is considering lens replacement surgery. My eyesight is pretty much perfect and I love life without my specs.
