About AS I AM Clinic - Rathmines

As I Am Clinic is based on the belief that everyone is perfect and has an innate ability to return to total health and reach their full potential.  It’s my job to be grounded, attentive to the body, and hold the space where each person can step into their own power and take their health in the direction that best serves them.

“The greatest healer, is the healer within”.

Both Homeopathy and Craniosacral Therapy embrace this fundamental belief.  When working with a clients ‘inner physician’, everything is possible.

Job Title:
  Practice Therapist

My career started in the Financial Services sector working in Wall Street in New York and the I.F.S.C. in Dublin. A yearning for something new lead me to Reiki in 2002 and I became a Reiki Master. I noticed a big change in my ability to focus my energy. I was far more productive and happier in my own skin. The ‘grounding’ element of Reiki was transformative for me. In 2005 I enrolled in the Irish School of Homoeopathy training College. Four years later in June 2009 I graduated as a Licensed Homeopath. I then completed a 2 year CPD (Continuous Professional Development) Program with the Irish Society of Homeopaths to become a Registered Practitioner. Following a dramatic illness in 2010, caused by the extraction of a mercury filling, which went into my digestive tract lodging in my appendix, I spent the subsequent year doing everything possible to recover my health. My sister suggested I go to a Craniosacral Therapist “to remove any somatic emotional energy still held in my appendix”. I still get a shiver when I think about that first Craniosacral Therapy session I experienced. I couldn’t believe what the therapist could feel and I was sure he was able to read my mind. The emotional releasing that took place on the plinth was so surprising and amazing. My curiosity was peaked. I signed up and began my training with the Upledger Institute of Ireland immediately. For me it felt like I had finally come home when I started this training. Craniosacral Therapy is so heart-centered and sacred. Every time I place my hands on a client I feel so privileged. To work with the body and communicate with it, has been an amazing and enlightening journey. I completed the CST Techniques Exam (CST-T) in Dec 2012 and graduated as a Craniosacral Therapist in Feb 2013. I am a registered member of the Irish Association of Craniosacral Therapists and also a Committee Member. I regularly participate in multi-therapist/client intensive workshops for adults and/or babies. I also have a keen interest in Equine facilitated Craniosacral Therapy sessions, especially with Autistic Children. Since 2007 I have been a member of the Fatima Health Initiative, providing low cost homeopathy to the people of the Fatima Mansions and surrounding areas of Dublin. I have also worked with Dolphin House in Dolphin’s Barn providing Homeopathy and Craniosacral Therapy. The case histories in these areas are primarily abuse (chemical, physical, emotional and sexual) and the fallout from that – suicide, depression, addiction, fear, anger and low self-worth. I am also involved in a CST Foundation in the Elbowroom in Dublin 7 providing Craniosacral Therapy to children, and carers of children with sensory processing issues, autism and dyspraxia. Other qualifications include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management & Marketing, Certification in Kinesiology (TASK) and Certification as a Shamanic Practitioner (Irish Centre of Shamanic Studies).
