Hair transplant - 1-year review I can not fault the Surgery Group at all through the whole process so far. I 1-year post-op and the results are beyond my wildest dreams! I was initially supposed to be having my transplant in Turkey last summer but due to coronavirus, I could not travel last year. I then looked into a transplant in the UK. I had a couple of online consultations with other, better-known companies but luckily for me, I found Matthew and the Surgery Group. The initial thing that drew me to this business was that it was a considerably lower price than other organisations, but after speaking to Matthew it becomes apparent that I wasn’t only getting a lower price, I was also getting a very personal experience in which I felt looked after and cared about. On the day of the surgery, Dr Ismail and his team were very honest and informative about what was going to happen. They drew an initial hairline that I wasn’t happy with so I asked them to modify this and they did. They even took more grafts than they needed to cover the area in order to make the front have a higher density. Throughout the whole process, I felt minimal pain, only for the anaesthetic injections and when hair was taken from the nerve endings. Overall a really professional procedure in which I felt safe, secure and cared for at all times. After the procedure, it was made clear what to do for aftercare and Matthew was available for the days after the procedure and beyond. He has continued to give me great advice over the phone all year, always replying within 10 minutes. For a lower price, I got exactly the same (or better) as I would have got with any better-known clinic in the UK. Short review: fantastic service and results, would recommend to anyone! Full Review: I was originally sceptical and nervous about going to a small business for such an expensive procedure. I seriously considered going abroad or London but decided to investigate the free consultation from Dr Khalil. After that, I never looked elsewhere. He explained the whole procedure in detail and explained the methodology with the price quoted (amount of hairs required to be moved, length of procedure, cost of technicians, etc). After I first booked in, a couple of weeks later I realised I needed to move the appointment. I called expecting some fee for rearranging the appointment, but he was very accommodating and moved the appointment with no charge for me. (I don’t know if this is always his procedure, but twice I had to change dates and both times this was the case!) I had planned not to leave a review until after a year (when the full results will visible) but I am so happy with the results, and all the nice compliments from friends, that I decided to do so now. It has been 4 and a half months since my operation, and I am over the moon with the results! See photos attached below of before and today. The aftercare has also been excellent, Dr Khalil called me the next day and during the week after to check on my health. I have then taken the optional monthly injections to help growth. Also, I an acquaintance who has been to Turkey for a very similar procedure and the price I paid at Tajmeel Clinic was cheaper by a couple thousand pounds. I could not be happier and could not recommend Tajmeel Clinic any more strongly.
