In this way, Dr Peker went to Mayo Clinic College of Medicine Rochester, Minnesota, USA and conducted studies and observations in both liver, biliary tract and pancreatic surgery (3 months) and Obesity Surgery Center (6 months). When he returned to his country, Dr Peker successfully completed the minor specialization exam and went to Bakırköy Dr Dr Peker was appointed to the General Surgery Clinic of Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital as a Gastroenterology Surgery Specialist.
