I was anxious about the colonic irrigation and whether it would really help. At my first appointment I was very much put at ease and decide to go for a course of treatments. I have been impressed by the monitoring and following up I received during my course, which allowed me to understand exactly what I was doing wrong and how to improve my IBS. I feel much better now and this is thanks for the attentive staff lead by Val the director. Definitely recommend.

I researched suitable Varicose Treatment centres in Whatclinic and found the Pax Clinic. I made equity which was responded to extremely quickly by Gediz, a lady with excellent English who booked me in to see Dr Us. I have varicose veins on the back of my legs. I went to my GP in the UK, who said that they were just a cosmetic issue, nothing to be worried about. I went to Dr Us's surgery and after a short wait, I saw a Dr who spoke good English. He examined me and then conducted several tests there and then. He clearly explained that he needs to know if the root of the problem was in the deep vein valves, or if it is just a cosmetic issue. To know this I needed to get a detailed Doppler scan of all of the main veins in my leg. This had to be done at a neighbouring clinic. They booked me in and I went the following day, it cost £200 and was a very thorough ultrasound survey of all my veins and valves, taking over an hour. The report was sent back to Dr Us, who told me that I have a grade 4 venous insufficiency in both legs. FYI Grade 5 is DVT, so it was a serious potential problem. He was able to do the surgery, but it would require at least a week to get a bed in the hospital. This is quite a serious operation, taking 4-5 hours and an overnight stay in the hospital. The cost for this would be around £7,500. I am going back to the UK to see if I can get medical insurance or the NHS to deal with. Dr Us provided me with a report for this purpose. If not I will come back out to Dr Us, who I rated very highly. He is one of the leaders in his field, globally. The service I received was second to none and Dr Us gave me a prescription for medication to slow the progression and an injector to administer before I fly for more than 2 hours.
