From start to finish the consultation and care of all staff was amazing. We self-funded the operation so we were responsible for all our own research of the provider and surgeon. We were never going to have surgery with anybody else after meeting Bruno. His empathy, knowledge and compassion was gold standard. On the day of operation, there was a long delay due to a patient having complications - Bruno kept us informed throughout the day as we needed reassurance that the operation wouldn’t be cancelled. (We aren’t local) Aftercare was equally impressive. Special mention to the dietician/nutritionist (Caroline) who is a huge support pre and post surgery. Even down to efficient blood testing and pre op appoints were on time and nothing too much trouble. We are now 15months post surgery and it’s been life-changing. Thank you again to all staff.

I was quiet please overall with my experience with the Doctor at this clinic and will use it again in the future if needed.

Sleeve Gastrectomy, the surgery went very well and I chose my surgeon carefully after much research. Bruno Sgromo was excellent and 2 days after surgery I have little more than discomfort.

With a BMI of <40 the SG was definitely the way to go, mainly because it allows all of the alimentary canal to be used. My hope is that my diabetes, hypertension and double knee replacement will benefit hugely by weight loss and I enter a new phase of my life with much optimism.

I was very impressed with Bruno Sgromo from the outset and his stats show that he is an excellent young surgeon doing plenty of procedures. The Manor hospital is very good, it is efficient and well run. I was disappointed not to meet the dietician in hospital (this normally happens), but I was well prepared before hand and the advice given was suffice.
