The Centre for Reproductive Health is the UK’s first integrated fertility hospital. With excellent transport links by rail and road, and ample free parking, the centre is easily accessible for patients from all over the North West, London and all parts of the UK. We are just 30 minutes from both Manchester and Liverpool airports, and we attract patients from all over the world. Designed by our consultants and embryologists to be perfectly suited for delivering the highest standards in patient care, the Centre is equipped with the latest technology. We have two operating theatres, suitable for day case surgery involving general anaesthesia and sedation, a state of the art laboratory suite, 6 consulting rooms and an 8 bed day ward with individual patient rooms. The Centre is truly unique because it offers our patients the opportunity to have all their treatment under one roof, delivered by one team; from their initial consultation, through to any investigations or surgery they may require, and the fertility treatment they may need. We will only recommend the best care pathway once we have carried out all the appropriate investigations to identify the cause of the apparent infertility. We know that no two patients are the same, and everybody receives personal, empathetic care. We also offer a full range of gynaecology treatments and maternity services.

This fertility and assisted conception unit is a state of the art centre within the Countess of Chester hospital in Chester in Cheshire. The hospital forms part of the NHS foundation trust. The modern facility is equipped with the latest technology for accurate testing and treatments of couples who seek help for infertility. A full range of infertility investigations and treatments are provided at the unit and the unit is licensed by the Human Fertilization and Embryology Authority. The unit has a commendable success rate of pregnancies resulting from assisted reproductive and fertility treatments provided at the hospital and adopts individualised evidence based care with the highest of standards and success.

The Leeds Reproductive Medicine Unit is based within the Clarendon Wing at Leeds General Infirmary with another unit located within the Gledhow Wing at St James's University Hospital. There are now plans to bring the two units together in a newly developed facility. The Clarendon Wing Reproductive Medicine unit was established in 1991. The Gledhow Wing Reproductive Medicine Unit was also established the same year. When the two units merge, it will be one of the largest and most comprehensive services within the UK.

The Wales Fertility Institute at the University Hospital of Wales is part of a two site South and West Wales Fertility Service with the second site being based at Neath Port Talbot Hospital.  The specialised multi disciplinary team consists of doctors, nurses, embryologists, counsellors and administrative staff. Treatments provided at the clinic are IUI, donor IUI, IVF and ICSI, ovulation induction, egg retrieval, fertilization and embryo development, egg and embryo freezing and blastocyst transfers. An egg donation scheme is available at the clinic.   The Centre has the facility to offer PGD services and is currently in discussion with the commissxioners regarding the commencement of this service to NHS patients in Wales. The WFI service strives to ensure that patients accessing the service are provided with a high quality and effective treatment pathway.  The Centre is licensed by the Human Fertilisation & Embryology Authority.
