From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized by Mehmet Emin Karagöz, who ensured every detail was taken care of – from pick-up to scheduling appointments with the doctors, addressing my concerns, and making sure I was comfortable throughout the process. Who is really keen to have eye surgery? Nobody. We researched for a long time and my wife was immediately convinced that she had found the right person when she called Dr. Ferwerder. The entire examination phase and the two operations went smoothly and everything was done within a week and we both had the operation, on both eyes. Dr. Ferwerder combines immense specialist knowledge, an unrivaled routine and a great team into a surgical experience and all of this is accompanied by a daily tsunami of humor. It's a shame that you only have two eyes, otherwise I would do it again straight away. I also know from conversations with friends and acquaintances, who did the same but in Malaysia, Singapore or Bangkok, that my result is the best. I hear completely different results and can happily report that we made the right decision to go for Dr. Ferwerder and his team. In addition, I really like his style, not everyone has to like it, but in my case it's a 100% fit! Thank you Dr. Ferwerder and team, after 4 weeks I have finally also stopped adjusting the glasses on my nose that I don't have. And he said, “Get up, throw away your glasses and see”!

I contacted the hospital at night requesting a possible surgery the next day so I could still catch my flight the day after. The Doctor and his team were extremely organized, and very detailed and ensured I had a successful surgery. I was able to catch my flight the next day out of Istanbul without any medical issues. I was booked for a free eye check during my next visit to Istanbul to confirm that my eyes were in perfect condition.
