I have work fulltime in the counselling and psychotherapy field as an accredited practitioner for 20 years in a variety of settings. This includes addiction treatment, prison service, criminal justice system etc. For the past 10 years I have worked in my own private practice. I am accredited by both Irish and British Associations of Counselling & Psychotherapy (IACP & BACP). I am also accredited by Addiction Counsellors of Ireland (formerly IAAAC) and the Federation of Drug and Alcohol Professionals (FDAP) as an addiction professional. I have completed accredited training by EMDR UK & Ireland. I carry out Drugs of Abuse Testing at my office. This consists of an observed urine sample collection and testing. The observed sample, which meets Chain of Custody conditions, is then sent to a registered and accredited laboratory in Dublin for confirmation acceptable to employers and the court system. There is a 24hr turnabout on lab testing. This test, including all testing and laboratory, costs 105€ for a single urine test or 95€ if regular testing is required. Please see website  for more info and to book a session. I also do instant urine tests acceptable to most employers or institutions but these are susceptible to legal challenge. As an accredited drug and alcohol professional, I issue a certificate verifying the authenticity of the test result. These tests are either observed or unobserved. An observed test has much greater credibility. The cost of this test is €65 including all paperwork and test equipment. A free Substance Dependency Syndrome Diagnostic test is offered free of charge to those who want one. A referral for treatment is included in this free offer.
