What are Skin Tags and how are they removed?

Skin tags are unsightly but harmless skin growths. They grow on a stem and are usually found on the eyelids and face, neck, armpits or under breasts. They are also called polyps or soft fibroma. Surgical and nonsurgical procedures are used to remove skin tags by cutting, tying, burning, using electrosurgery, or freezing, using liquid nitrogen called cryosurgery.

Is Skin Tag Removal painful?

A local anaesthetic or numbing cream is applied to the skin tag area before it is removed. Patients will not feel pain when skin tags are removed.

Can I travel by air after Skin Tag Removal?

Patients should wait at least a day after skin tag removal before flying so that the local anaesthetic has completely worn off.

When will I recover after Skin Tag Removal?

It takes four to five days before patients fully recover after a skin tag is removed. Recovery time depends on the number of skin tags, the size of the skin tag and the area of the body where they are located.

What care is required after Skin Tag Removal?

Patients should take all prescribed medications and apply topical medications correctly. They should sleep with their head elevated for two days. They should avoid strenuous exercise and lifting heavy objects for at least a week. They should avoid exposing the treated area to direct sunlight for at least nine months. They should avoid touching or scratching the treated area to ensure that the healing is quick.

I found the clinic to be very clean and professionalSimon, UK, 15 12 22

Mole removal on the side of my nose- £250. I found the clinic to be very clean and professional. Laura was clear and knowledgeable on the subject and discussed the procedure with me. We went ahead on the same day, it was no longer than 2 mins and the mole had been removed leaving a small sore. The sore is currently healing and has scabbed and my follow up appointment is in a couple of weeks. So far I am happy with the outcome and pleased I took the step.

Skin Tag Removal from £60
Skin tag removal is a quick and effective treatment to safely remove benign skin growths that can appear on areas such as the neck, underarms, eyelids, or body. These small growths can become irritated, catch on clothing, or be cosmetically unwanted. Treatment is carried out using a precise method to remove the lesion while minimising damage to the surrounding skin. Treatment starts from £60, depending on the number and size of the lesions. Each lesion is carefully assessed before treatment to ensure suitability, following a clinical approach focused on safety and appropriate management.
Microneedling from £120
Microneedling is used to improve skin affected by acne scarring, pigmentation, uneven texture, enlarged pores, and visible signs of ageing. By creating controlled micro-injuries, it stimulates collagen production and supports skin regeneration, helping to refine the surface of the skin and improve overall skin quality. Treatment starts from £120, depending on the areas treated and the type of active serum used. Different protocols are selected according to the concern being treated and the condition of the skin, following a clinical, results-focused approach. A course of treatments is usually recommended to achieve progressive and visible improvement.
Mesotherapy from £150
Mesotherapy is a targeted treatment designed to improve skin quality, hydration, and overall skin function. It delivers a combination of active ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, vitamins, amino acids, and antioxidants into the superficial layers of the skin, helping to improve hydration, support skin repair, and enhance overall skin vitality. Suitable for dull, tired, or dehydrated skin, as well as areas showing early signs of ageing, this treatment helps improve texture, brightness, and skin resilience. Each treatment is adapted to the skin condition and goals, using a clinical, results-focused approach developed through advanced aesthetic training.
Dermal Fillers
Dermal Fillers from £250
Dermal fillers are used to restore volume, enhance facial contours, and improve overall balance, creating visible yet natural-looking results. Treatments are carefully planned based on individual facial structure and skin quality, avoiding overfilled or artificial outcomes. The focus is on enhancing definition, restoring proportions, and improving areas affected by volume loss or structural change. Each treatment is tailored to deliver results that are noticeable, balanced, and in harmony with your features. Performed by a Level 7 qualified practitioner in aesthetic medicine and Independent Nurse Prescriber, each treatment is tailored to deliver results that are noticeable, balanced, and in harmony with your features.
