GDC No 76220 BDS (Wales 1999) MFDS RCS (England 2002) DipRestDent RCS (London 2010) DPDS (Bristol 2011) MScRestDent RCS (Leeds 2011) FFGDP (UK 2014) Laurie is our principal dentist at Ravenshead Dental Practice and prides himself on attention to detail, good listening skills and a gentle manner, while providing comprehensive dentistry to the highest of standards. He has previously worked in private practices in Bath and Cheltenham, and moved to Nottingham in 2011 to be close to his wife’s family. He is married to Louise who is training to be an anaesthetist, and has a young son called Tom.

GDC number 76043 BDS (Hons)(Wales 1999) MFDS RCS (England 2002) MMedSci(Implants) (Sheffield 2010) M Pros RCS (Edinburgh 2013) FDS RCS (Rest Dent) (Edinburgh 2015) Joe is a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at Glenfield Hospital, Leicester. He completed a Master’s degree in Dental Implantology in 2010, obtained his Membership in Prosthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh in 2013 and completed his specialist training in Restorative Dentistry at Sheffield Dental Hospital in 2015. Joe teaches on the Master’s programme in Dental Implantology at the University of Sheffield and runs regular courses for General Dental Practitioners throughout the Midlands. He is also an examiner for the Overseas Registrant Exam and the Diploma in Implant Dentistry.

GDC number 103677 Dip Dent Hygiene (Sheffield 2006) Dip Dent Therapy (Sheffield 2006) Francesca is qualified as both a dental hygienist and also as a dental therapist. Being doubly qualified means she is able to provide periodontal (gum) treatment as well as provide fillings, give local anaesthetic, take x-rays, impressions and a plethora of other dental duties. Fran is also great at dealing with children & nervous patients.
