Over a year ago, I started researching the best dentist to have a crown and veneer replaced. Over 40 years ago, I had an accident that resulted in trauma to a few of my teeth. I have never been happy with any of the crowns or veneers I have had. I was determined that when they were due to be replaced, I would, for once, like my smile. Upon meeting Alison, I instantly trusted her as a dentist, which was a first for me. One year on, all treatment is completed, and I am delighted with the result.

PFM Crown  
Porcelain fused to metal crowns (or PFM crowns) is a procedure whereby a metal alloy is attached to your tooth. Porcelain is then fused to the metal to create a very strong and long lasting crown. Because porcelain is used to create the outer part of the crown, the appearance is natural and the colour is very similar to that of your existing teeth. These crowns are strong enough to withstand heavy biting force, and at the same time can have an excellent cosmetic appearance.
