The Damon system of braces uses a new method for straightening teeth. They are called self-ligating braces. I have been a patient of Ballyclare Dental practice for a number of years but because of COVID I hadn'tt been there for about 3/4 years. My friend, who was having some private work carried out, was diagnosed with mouth cancer. It frightened me and I made an appointment for a check up right away. I am a patient of Trevor and told him my story. He immediately carried out an extensive examination of my mouth and I was very pleased to come out with a clear bill of health. Lovely clean premises and kind staff.

I have always feared visiting the dentist , for that reason my teeth are destroyed and I have no smile I could be proud of . Today I had an appointment to have the damaged assessed and make a plan for future treatment . I was treated with consideration and kindness , I felt at ease , the examination was extensive and painless . I had x-rays taken to see what course of action would be best taken and at the end of the examination I had a chat with the dentist and a way forward was planned . My first impressions were good , I am feeling optimistic about the work to be done . I am looking forward to getting my smile back . Now the financial aspect . Todays bill was not cheap , however it was not over expensive . Overall I am very pleased with my experience , my future treatment plan and the final amount payable on completion of my treatment .
