He qualified at Queens University, Belfast in 1979 and after working as an associate for 4 years, John and myself decided to set up the practice in 1985. During this time we have helped many patients look after their teeth and overcome their dental fears, in particular needle phobia. He really enjoy direct composite resin dentistry, which means bonding tooth coloured restorations to natural teeth to make them both look fantastic and function perfectly, as well as minimal invasive all ceramic restorations. He is a member of the association of cosmetic dentistry. I continue to update and extend my knowledge within dentistry so that I can provide my patients with the most up to date treatments using the most advanced materials. He also have a keen interest in treating occlusion and helping patients who have a problem with their bite. This is particularly so for people who suffer from migraine and tension headaches. He, like my brother John, practice all aspects of dentistry and my aim is to provide excellent dentistry in a relaxing environment and because of this many of our patients have been coming to see us, since we opened and we enjoy a relaxed and friendly rapport. He is married to Julie and have two boys Jack and Alec. I enjoy playing golf, cycling and skiing. I also follow rugby as both my sons play.
