I attended DentaES for orthodontic treatment with the aim of improving my smile. I chose their Damon system treatment, as it requires fewer check-ups, which suited my schedule outside Macedonia. I had high expectations for the treatment, which unfortunately were not met.
The treatment was initially carried out by a general dentist with additional training in the Damon system. After the prosthesis was placed, my teeth began moving differently than expected, becoming misaligned within the first month. I consulted other orthodontists, both locally and abroad, and they advised that correction was needed.
I requested to transfer to a more experienced provider within the clinic. Partial corrections were made, but they did not fully resolve the issues, and my teeth continued to experience discomfort, sensitivity, and infections. The fixed prosthesis was eventually removed after multiple adjustments. Following the treatment, I have experienced ongoing pain, loose teeth, and anxiety related to the process. I was later diagnosed with bone resorption, which may have resulted from the initial treatment.
Overall, the treatment did not achieve the desired aesthetic results and caused significant physical and psychological stress. I share this review to describe my experience, including the treatment process, adjustments, and outcomes, so others can make informed decisions about their care.
