Treatment Received: Extractions,Flexible Partial Dentures
Very fast and efficient treatment. I was in rather a hurry, but they fitted me out with partial flexible dentures in just four days. I had some teeth extracted, but it was very quick and painless. I felt completely at ease.

Polite and competent people. The administrative staff or assistants had very adequate English, and we managed to communicate well The treatment was very satisfactory and very reasonably priced. Thank you very much!

"Extraction without any problems"
5 50Reviewed 03 Dec 2015 Verified user. Review confirmed by email.
Treatment Received: Wisdom Tooth Extraction,Dentist Consultation
Excellent. I was attended the same day that I asked them about my problems.
I had to be removed from a wisdom tooth and for the surgeon was a bit challenging as it was a bit deeper far as usual, but no problem she extracted it without any problem for me. The post-operational is being quite fast, as I was yesterday at clinic and today I don't have any pain and bad sensations.
Great treatment.

I got this clinic searching in Google by 'Riga dentist' and as usual the first results are the best. I didn't compare prices with other clinics as for my treatment the difference doesn't worth.

The installations as usual in a dentist.

Treatment Received: Fillings
I am a really nervous patient especially when it comes to getting injections prior to fillings. The staff were extremely helpful and put me at ease from the moment I arrived. My Dentist Dr Vyacheslav Levit had a number of tricks to take my mind off the anaesthetic and helped me over come my fears. I would highly recommend Dental Art Clinic, especially for nervous patients. My experience overall was very professional, friendly and fantastic. 10/10. Sinus Lift — bone grafting

In cases where there is not enough natural jawbone to accept the implant, it is sometimes necessary to conduct an initial bone graft. Our dental experts will take a panoramic X-Ray that will enable them to check your bone density and identify any underlying problems that were not visible during the check-up. Bone graft can take a healing time of between 6 to 12 months before your mouth is ready to accept the implant.

Dental bridge is comprised of two crowns and one pontic (fake tooth/teeth between).

Dental bridge may be necessary if you are missing one or more teeth, because with the time gaps can cause problems with your bite, or can deform the shape of your face.

Dental bridge literally bridge the gap created by one or more missing teeth.

What are the benefits of Dental Bridge?

1) Restore your smile;

2) Restore the ability to properly speak and chew;

3) Allocate the forces in your bite properly by replacing missing teeth;

4) Maintain the shape of your face;

5) Prevent remaining teeth from drifting out of position.

What types of Dental Bridges are available in our Clinic?

Traditional bridge is the most commonly used. This type of bridge involves a crown for the tooth on either side of the missing tooth, with a pontic in between. The price for PFM bridge unit is 200€, zirconium unit 200€.

Cantilever bridge is used when you have teeth in only one side. In this case, the false tooth is anchored to one or more adjacent teeth in one side. The price for PFM bridge unit is 200€, zirconium unit 200€.

How long do Dental Bridges last?

With good oral hygiene, regular dental check-ups and professional cleaning, dental bridges can last up to 5-7 years and even longer.

A crown is a type of dental restoration which completely caps a tooth. Teeth that cannot be restored with traditional filling material may require a crown. Dental crown fits over the tooth to conceal cracked, discolored, injured, or chipped tooth. When the crown is cemented, it completely encloses the visible portion of the tooth.

We offer porcelain fused to metal crowns and Zirconium crowns.

What is involved in the Implant procedure?

1) The first phase. The first phase of treatment, after a detailed check-up, consultation and treatment plan, usually is the actual placement of the implants. This procedure is usually done during one visit. The implant(s) will remain covered, underneath the gums, for 3 to 6 months. During this time, integration between bone and implant occurs.

Through this healing period, you will probably wear your modified denture.

2) The second phase. The second phase of the procedure is usually 3-6 months after implant placement. At this phase, the top of the implant(s) will be uncovered from under the gums and a small metal extension will be attached to them. If you are wearing temporary dentures, then the restorative dentist will make any necessary modifications to your temporary dentures to allow you to continue wearing them after post attachment.

3) In the third phase, which usually starts 2-6 weeks after the second phase, your new replacement teeth are created and fitted. The try-in sessions are necessary to ensure that the size,shape,color of your teeth

Full dentures are used when all natural teeth have been lost or all existing teeth need to be extracted. Although full dentures are fitted to every patient individually they still might have limited stability and it is better to try and keep as many teeth as possible to give your denture better support.

If you choose to have complete dentures, and dont wan to wait, you can have instant  dentures. These dentures are inserted on the same day, after the tooth/teeth extraction. For some people it will look strange to put dentures on bleading gums but the denture in this case, acts like a protection for the tissues, and it can even reduce bleeding. Moreover  you will  not  appear in public without teeth.

To treat a cavity your dentist will remove the decayed portion of the tooth and then "fill" the area on the tooth where the decayed material once lived.

Fillings are also used to repair cracked or broken teeth and teeth that have been worn down from misuse (such as from nail-biting or tooth grinding ).

First, the dentist will numb the area around the tooth with a local anesthetic. Next, a drill, air abrasion instrument or laser will be used to remove the decayed area. The choice of instrument depends on the individual dentist's comfort level, training, and investment in the particular piece of equipment as well as location and extent of the decay.

Next, your dentist will probe or test the area during the decay removal process to determine if all the decay has been removed. Once the decay has been removed, your dentist will prepare the space for the filling by cleaning the cavity of bacteria and debris. If the decay is near the root, your dentist may first put in a liner made of glass ionomer, composite resin, or other material to protect the nerve. Generally, after the filling is in, your dentist will finish and polish it.

Several additional steps are required for tooth-colored fillings and are as follows. After your dentist has removed the decay and cleaned the area, the tooth-colored material is applied in layers. Next, a special light that "cures" or hardens each layer is applied. When the multilateral process is completed, your dentist will shape the composite material to the desired result, trim off any excess material and polish the final restoration.

Amalgam Fillings Advantages:

A composite inlay/onlay is similar to other types of indirect fillings apart from the material used to treat a cavity or damaged tooth. This material is a composite resin which is white in appearance and enables the inlay/onlay to match the rest of your teeth. Composite resin is an acceptable choice of material for an inlay or onlay, for people who tend to grind their teeth or have malocclusion (misaligned jaw which causes problems with their bite). Composite inlays and onlays are a good choice for people with tooth decay which is too far advanced for a filling but not serious enough for a crown.

Advantages of composite inlays/onlays.

A major advantage is their natural looking appearance. They have a white (or slightly off white) colour which allows them to blend in with the rest of your teeth. Plus they provide a watertight seal between the tooth and the indirect filling which prevents the risk of bacteria entering that gap and causing an infection. They do cause any friction with neighboring teeth and are easy to polish and care for in general.
