I underwent orthodontic treatment at this clinic seeking a minor correction, as I previously had a correct bite and no dental health issues. Unfortunately, the outcome of the treatment has had a serious and lasting negative impact on my health.
During treatment, several important steps were missed. Rubber bands were often not attached, parts of the process were skipped, and I was told these steps were unnecessary. Required diagnostic imaging was not carried out before braces were fitted. An X-ray was only taken at the very end of treatment, which later showed early gum recession — something that was not discussed with me at the time. I only became aware of this after consulting a senior specialist elsewhere.
Shortly after one of the appointments, I developed constant ringing in my ears. I raised this concern immediately and was told it would pass, but it has persisted. Since completing treatment, I have been diagnosed by other specialists with significant bite problems and temporomandibular joint (TMJ) issues. My jaw movement is now limited, I experience ongoing headaches, and the ringing in my ears is continuous.
I have already spent over €3,000 on further consultations and treatment to address these problems. Recovery has been slow and challenging, and these issues have significantly affected my ability to work, exercise, and sleep.
I submitted a formal complaint to the clinic and was informed I would receive a response within 30 days, but no response was provided.
Based on my experience, the treatment did not reflect what was initially discussed, and the lack of follow-up and accountability has been deeply disappointing.
