Was recently seen by Dr. Grant. I'm a nervous patient and he and the dental nurse reassured me at all times. Dr. Grant explained the steps to the procedure really well, so I felt very much in good hands. He also distracted me, so I felt less worried. The receptionists were also very friendly and welcoming. I began treatment in 2013 with Dr Mairtin Brennan. There were many visits and detailed examinations before the surgery began. Because of the loss of bone, I required a bone graft. Like another patient said this is a very involved process and very difficult work. It has to be so precise. I got 5 implants. They have created perfect stability and what Dr Brennan said was that one of his chief objectives was to create space in my mouth. This was done to great effect. I am not aware that the implants are there. It was worth all the measurements that had to be done. Everything has to be checked several times but it was worth it all in the end. A bone graft is heavy going but once it settled down I forgot about the process. I would highly recommend Dr Brennan and would advise anyone to pay him at least a visit. Investing in my teeth was one of the best decisions I ever made. Seven years of enjoying eating better, more confidence, and compared to what I had it was like going from a mini to a Rolls Royce.
I have to say I've never been happier after leaving a dentist. I've had too many bad experiences with dentists and had just about given up and had bad anxiety about going to a dentist again. I had the start of a root canal done and I have to say I felt quiet at ease and felt absolutely no pain and am happy to go back to have the rest done. The whole team are ace and I'm a very happy customer and now have a dentist I trust. I would highly recommend St Peter's Dental, especially for anxious people when it come's to previous bad experiences.
Just brought my 9-year-old daughter to this clinic. Her first experience getting anaesthetic and her teeth pulled. Have to say, the dentist was a lovely gentleman and made her feel so safe. She didn't even flinch when she got the injection. Would recommend him. Very friendly, nice and clean clinic.
