This is a centre of excellence for all dental needsMary, Ireland, 30 08 20

I wish to thank Dr Linehan and all of the staff in the Seapoint Clinic for their amazing care, especially with restrictions due to Covid-19. I have been a patient for many years and they have looked after me so well, indeed my first implant was over 14 years ago and is as good as ever. This is a centre of excellence for all dental needs. All of the staff are super professional and friendly and the atmosphere is one of calm especially for the nervous patient (me) there is always help to alleviate any apprehension regarding treatment. I cannot recommend this clinic more highly and rate them as such.

Extractions are a lot less common today than they once were as people are taking better care of their teeth and as dentists we are able to save a lot more than we could previously. Despite these advances there are still times when an extraction of a tooth is the only option. If you do need a tooth taken out we are able to take out any tooth including wisdom teeth as we have an oral surgeon available as well as our general dentists.

Extractions from €60
Treatment Duration: 30 – 60 minutes A tooth may need to be removed from the mouth if it cannot be saved through any other treatment. Most commonly teeth are extracted when a tooth is broken through trauma/accident, decay or if it is loose. There are many reasons an extraction may be required. It is important to consult your dentist regarding a dental plan. There are two types of tooth extraction: Simple extraction: This is the most common type of extraction and is very straight forward. This type of extraction occurs when the tooth is visible or loose in the mouth. Surgical extraction: This is a more complicated procedure and is necessary if a tooth is broken at the gum line or is below the gum line. This type of extraction takes more time and in some instances can only be carried out by an oral surgeon. If this is the case our dentist will refer you to an oral surgeon. What to expect from your visit to White Smile Dental: Once you have made an appointment you will be sent a reminder text the day before with our your appointment details and our address. Upon arrival you will be asked to fill out a new patient form and take a seat in our comfortable waiting area. At your appointment time, our dentist will check your mouth and the affected tooth while taking xrays if required. He will discuss all options available and clearly outline the cost and time frame of treatment. At this point and if it is possible you may decide to have the tooth removed there and then or arrange to come back at a more convenient time. Aftercare notes are given at the end of your appointment to guide you post treatment.
Wisdom Tooth Extraction
Treatment Duration: 45 – 60 minutes Wisdom teeth are located at the very back of the mouth and tend to come through in when in your twenties or later. This often causes problems with space in the mouth (impacted) when they are ‘erupting’ leading to pain and infection. In some cases wisdom teeth can only be removed by an oral surgeon in which case our dentist will refer you. If you are in pain from your wisdom teeth please contact us immediately. We will ensure we see you as soon as possible. There is a possibility our dentist may not be able to remove your wisdom tooth that day, but we will help with any pain and prescribe antibiotics if required. The clinic was impressive and I’m glad I chose them. It was value for moneySharon, Dublin , 11 06 18

Sandyford is close to my workplace, so I had my root canal there. The clinic was impressive and I’m glad I chose them. It was value for money and the results were good. I can’t recall what I paid, but I think it was the price I’d seen on the website. I thought the staff was nice, friendly and efficient. I’ll be going back for a follow-up soon.

Full cleaning and exam in twenty minutes.Ali, Dublin, 23 07 15

Exam, cleaning and X-rays. A wonderful service and I went away with a piece of mind that I have found a professional, honest, and friendly dentist. I was seen as soon as I arrived and had X-rays, an exam of my teeth, and a full cleaning within 20 minutes. It is the best experience with a dentist that I have ever had! An amazing clinic. Superb service, friendly, reliable, caring, and genuine help. Having had awful experiences in the past few years with dentists proposing unnecessary treatments for their financial gain, it is a breath of fresh air to find a clinic that guarantees an honest and professional service. It is a very relaxing atmosphere; the staff is so friendly that I was at ease immediately. The prices are very reasonable and I would recommend them to anyone!
