I chose Canty Dental 20 years ago, because of proximity. Although I've moved around, I've never had the need to look elsewhere. Paul is a highly skilled and caring dentist who helped me overcome a phobia arising from a past experience. Over the years I've had check-ups, cleaning, fillings, and root canal work - all of which were well-handled. Paul doesn't make you feel rushed, although I know he's busy, and he's good at explaining what he's doing and why? The staff are lovely, and it's easy to get there driving or by bus.

Consultations with Patrick were informative, discussion re: treatment clear. He clarified treatment goals. Refer to other specialities for the best results. Always listened, kind, patient and ready to plan around your needs. Invested enough to achieve and suggest options. A practice that supports complex needs.

Dervla makes you feel at home. I was there last week and I was on the chair waiting for tooth withdrawal and she said to me it's out, Vince. Never felt a thing. Would highly recommend her.

I have been to Marie in Macroom Dental (Middle Square) twice to get extractions. I have never been to a better Dentist. She is so nice and an excellent Dentist. She has pulled 4 teeth for me. I have to say that I never even knew that she had the teeth out, she is such a expect and lovely and friendly with it. Very good with nervous patients like me. I have had no problems afterwards. I highly recommend her. The dental Nurse was lovely also. So friendly. You would never think you were at a Dentist there. If you haven't been there then please give it a try. I forgot to say that the receptionist is a lovely lady also.
