He attended his Anesthesiology Residence at the Guatemalan Social Security Institute, where he served as Chief of Residents in 2002.

He completed a mini-residency program in Anesthesiology at Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami, Florida.

He worked as a Specialist in Anesthesiology at the Obstetrics Gynecological Hospital from 2003 to 2014.

Head of Anesthesiology in the area of Gynecology Obstetrics from 2010 to 2014.

Postgraduate Professor of Anesthesiology at the Guatemalan Social Security Institute from 2002 to date.

He is currently dedicated solely to his private practice.

He has 14 years of experience as an anesthesiologist in relation to dental procedures.

He has performed different procedures of this type under intravenous sedation, which allows treatments to be carried out in a safe manner.

Dr. Vela is a graduate of the Mariano Gálvez University of Guatemala. He continues his Master's degrees in Orthodontics and Maxillofacial Orthopedics at the Intercontinental University of Mexico, DF He has a diploma in Lingual Orthodontics, doing a fellowship in Mexico City

In order to update, it takes the Invisalign Accreditation in Mexico City. It annually attends orthodontic refresher courses in the United States.

He has training in different techniques. He specializes in the MBT technique (the world's most modern technique) of which he holds a diploma and is accredited in Brazil. On the other hand, he has specialization in self-ligating systems, previous orthodontics for orthognathic surgery, maxillary orthopedics and aesthetic orthodontics.

His practice is limited exclusively to Orthodontics and has extensive experience of more than 1,000 cases.

He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, World Federation of Orthodontists, and Association of Odontologists of Guatemala.

Dr. Brenda Coloma is a graduate of the University of San Carlos de Guatemala. He carried out his practices, focusing on cosmetic, restorative dentistry and pediatric dentistry. 

He has 22 years of experience working in multiple areas.
