   Trident is the centre for aesthetic dentistry and implantology situated in the most beautiful pearl on the Adriatic Coast– the town of Rovinj. It consists of 5 completely equipped dental surgeries with a state-of-the art dental laboratory.

    Trident owns its own apartments, which provide comfort and privacy to clients and their companions. Plus accommodation we offer our patients transfer from airport and we organize various tours.

OUR TEAM

   Four dental surgeons with international experience and three nurses are employed at the clinic. The team is further supported by four top technicians working in the dental laboratory. Both the dental surgery and laboratory use state-of-the art materials and advanced technology in order to offer our clients service of the highest quality.

We have recently bought Dental CT (PaxDuo 3D) which can measure every detail of your jaw (precision of 0.25mm in three dimension). This guaranties perfect diagnosis for implant placement.

      The clinic pays great attention to the development of "know-how". The firm of knowledge" is the motto of our team and that is the reason why our doctors and technicians are both in the programme of continuing education and attend regularly professional courses.

SERVICE WE PROVIDE

      We have the experience of some ten thousand implants that had been successfully set up. We are especially proud of the successful solving of many most complicated implant-prosthetic cases and have become famous for the bone augmentation as well as sinus-lifting technique.

ACCOMODATION

      The dental studio is in possession of its own apartments which are rented to the clients at very reasonable prices. They are 5-7 minutes walking from the beach and 7-10 minutes walking from dental centre.

TOURS

       In addition to providing dental services for our clients we organise various tours e.g. trip to Venice, Rovinj sightseeing, visit to Pula (the most beautiful antique amphitheatre in the world), gastronomic experience of the region of Istria, the visit to the national park Brijuni etc.

TRANSFER FROM AIRPORT

    We have our own new van so you don't need to worry about transfer. Our driver will pick you up at any airport you choose (in range of 100 miles) and, of course, drive you back when leaving. We charge this service in case of relation Rovinj-Pula-Rovinj 10 EUR per person.

CONSULTATION IN LONDON AND DUBLIN

      We organize consultation in UK and Ireland every two month.

      We call this service "Tea and Cookies with Trident" and it is FREE OF CHARGE.

I have been going to Trident for quite some time now and find the service and the work to be of a very high standard. I have had 5 implants on the lower jaw plus bridges. Also they made a bridge on my upper jaw which also involved a root canal.
I am very happy with the results and would highly recommend this dental clinic.

The office is spotlessly clean,very professional with all the equipment new and very well maintained. All the dentists are very caring and make you feel as comfortable as possible. They take their time to explain what they are doing and give options and the price (very resonable).
They have a scan machine connected to computers which make it possible to see exactly what needs to be done and also monitor the treatment.

Were you pleased with the treatment?

Yes I am pleased with the treatment however it is not yet finished. I had three implants inserted in my lower jaw and now have to wait for the bone to grow around them. I did experience numbness in my chin and lip but the dentist assured me it would go away in time. I was very worried about this so he asked me to return to have a scan to check the implants. I returned to Croatia had another scan done which showed no problem, this was done free of charge and then dentist spent enough time with me to explain the scan. After 2 months the numbness has disappeared, fortunately. I will return to complete the treatment early next year.

Yes I would recommend this clinic. It is very professional, spotlessly clean and the staff very friendly and competent

I have to return to complete the treatment and have no hesitation in doing this.

Would you recommend the clinic?

Great little clinic, clean, modern facilities and friendly staff. Time off work was a factor for me but they accommodated my needs and completed the both phases of my treatment quickly.

Natural teeth, dental implants, or a combination of natural teeth and dental implants can be used to support the bridge. Dental bridges will help sustain the natural appearance of your teeth and prevent drifting of teeth. If a missing tooth is not taken care of, your adjacent teeth will drift into the open area. This can complicate matters as severe drifting may rule out the placement of a bridge. Zirconium Bridge is the best and can simulate natural teeth in colour, translucency, and function. There are also all metal bridges or porcelain fused to metal bridges that are less aesthetically pleasing. Dental bridge work begins by filing down the adjacent teeth to accommodate the crowns. Afterwards it needs to be taken impressions of the teeth, which will be used to create the dental crowns.

Guaranteed for 3 years.Root canal treatment starts by cleaning out damaged areas of the tooth. This is generally performed under local anaesthetic, so the root canal procedure is generally no more uncomfortable than getting a filling. Once the endodontist has breached the pulp chamber, further anaesthetic may be injected directly into the nerve of the tooth. This effectively deadens any further pain. The endodontist removes the tissue within the pulp chamber and clears any remaining nerve tissue from the root canals. Once the dental pulp tissue has been cleared, the dentist widens the root canal slightly and straightens the pulp chamber to prepare it for filling. The inside of the tooth is then disinfected. When the tooth has been properly prepared, the endodontist fills the root canals with a rubber-like material called gutta-percha filling. The pulp chamber is packed with cotton, and a temporary filling is used to seal the opening. During a succeeding visit, your endodontist removes the temporary filling, fills the pulp chamber with a core build-up, and then repairs the tooth with a filling or crown. During this visit, your endodontist will also check for root canal procedure complications such as infection.

By placing glass-like ceramic porcelain on the surface of teeth, it can be provided patient with bright, straight, and natural looking smile. . First step is to remove a thin layer of enamel for retention of the veneer. This thin layer of enamel removal mimics the thickness of the veneer. If discoloration is present then follows removal of discoloured portion of the tooth and any caries or cavity underneath. If solid tooth structure is present, then only the thin layer of enamel removed is needed for retention. An impression or dental mould is taken and sent to a dental laboratory with instructions for alignment and tooth shade. A temporary is placed in the meantime. Upon return for placement, the tooth is etched with an acidic solution in order for bonding of the veneer. This etching technique assures adequate bonding of the veneer to the tooth. Cement is used to adhere the veneer to the tooth and the excess removed.
