What is a Dental Implant?

Dental implants are artificial screws made of titanium or zirconium oxide that connect the jawbone and a dental restoration like a crown or denture. Like most people, I guess, going to the dentist is not my favourite thing and it had been a while, so I wasn't expecting a good experience. However, Jane and her team made the experience very bearable and definitely as painless as possible. My dentist, Sihan, was wonderful. She talked me through the whole procedure, explaining every step and making sure that I was comfortable. I have more work to be done but I know that I will be well looked after and the end result will be exceptional.
