I had breast reduction surgery on 21st November 2024 at The Yorkshire Clinic, Bingley with Mr Mahajan. He came highly recommended but I also did my own research before choosing him. I felt listened to, respected and comfortable. The NHS offered me therapy/counselling and antidepressants, so it was a very refreshing experience having someone listen to and acknowledge my concerns over my 32GG/HH breasts. The consultation for the examination was made very comfortable for me with a female nurse present and my husband was allowed to stay in the room too. There was no pressure for me to make a decision and I was given lots of clear written information to take home and digest. I was encouraged to ask any and every question I had - I wasn’t rushed, I wasn’t dismissed but more importantly he set my expectations as to a) what I should expect after surgery with regards to movement and recovery, but also the expected breast size. He was very clear about my expectations versus reality and looking back that was one of the most important factors. Mr Mahajan is very well respected at Yorkshire Clinic by everyone whom I spoke to, from the cleaner to the staff nurse to the receptionist. This was very reassuring. I am now 8 weeks post surgery. My breasts have settled down and feel very comfortable. I am over the moon and delighted with the outcome of the size, symmetry, scars/healing, look and feel of my breasts. I couldn’t be more delighted with my breasts but also with the overall care and attention of Mr Mahajan.
