From the initial consultation, where Mr Barabas managed to put me at ease, to the day of surgery which, was trouble-free, to the final appointment. The wounds healed with no issues, the sutures were dissolvable and cleverly done. The brilliant Anaesthetist prevented any sickness post op which, I was relieved about. I’m delighted with the results, I look more in proportion, have no more shoulder pain and generally feel much better in many ways. As someone who has recently undergone blepharoplasty, the decision to undergo this procedure has been life-changing. The procedure itself was smooth and relatively quick (just under an hour). The recovery process was exactly as I expected and I followed Prof. Mahajan’s post-operative instructions carefully. While there was some swelling and bruising initially, it subsided significantly within the first week. I was back to my normal routine within a couple of weeks, albeit with some minor precautions. The results of my blepharoplasty exceeded my expectations. Moreover, the improvement was subtle and natural-looking, which was exactly what I had hoped for. I feel more confident in my appearance and the heavy-eyed tired feeling has gone.
