Mr Barabas was definitely the right surgeon for me; he exudes warmth, compassion and kindness, just as his photo looks. That’s, together with his expertise and knowledge, why I knew as soon as I met him that it had to be him to do my breast reduction. He comes across as so caring and empathetic. I actually saw two other surgeons at my local private hospital first. I saw the first one back in November; I just wasn’t comfortable with him, so it’s hard to go by just a photo. Then I saw another one locally also; I just didn’t feel it from her either, but I read the reviews and saw she’s a good surgeon, and I was feeling quite desperate, so I booked with her. I really didn’t feel happy though, but time was going, and it was booked for mid-March. I started looking elsewhere in the meantime, and I found this wonderful man, Anthony Barabas. He replied personally and quickly to any emails I sent and was so helpful and reassuring. I soon had a consultation with him and knew straight away that this is who I want to go with, so I cancelled the operation at my local hospital straight away. Mr Barabas actually said he could do it just a week away, but I just couldn’t make the arrangements at home, etc so we agreed on July. I had it done at the Fitzwilliam in Peterborough, and he was definitely worth travelling over 40 miles and waiting another 4 months. So the time came, and it’s all done now, and the result is amazing. I had tears in my eyes when I saw what he’d done for me, as although I was expecting it to be good, I feel that he went above and beyond; it was what I always wanted but didn’t think such perfection was achievable. I’m a different woman already; I’m nearly 67, but I feel 10 years younger. My husband said that to me, and so did my neighbour. No pain either, just a tightness which is easy to cope with and not much else, just a bit of discomfort. This will change my life so much. I was so looked after by all of his team too. If I ever want anything else done, I’ll definitely go back to him, even if it’s further away to travel, as I know 100% that everything will work out wonderfully. After speaking with so many different clinics and surgeons, I just hadn’t found anyone who made me feel completely comfortable and confident until I spoke with Dr Vadodaria. Honestly, within about two minutes of our conversation, I knew he was the surgeon I wanted. He immediately made me feel like a patient rather than just a number, and it was so clear how much he genuinely cares about the people he treats. From the very beginning, his kindness, professionalism, and reassurance stood out. On the day of my otoplasty, both Dr Vadodaria and his team were absolutely incredible. I was naturally nervous, but they made me feel so safe, comfortable, and reassured throughout the entire procedure. The nurses were amazing holding my hand, rubbing my leg, constantly making sure I was warm and comfortable, and offering such genuine care. Dr Vadodaria spoke to me the whole way through, keeping me calm with his kindness and reassurance, which made such a difference. The aftercare has been just as exceptional. I even had questions late on a Sunday evening, and he didn’t hesitate to personally call me and talk everything through, which says so much about his dedication and the level of care he provides. I genuinely cannot recommend Dr Vadodaria highly enough. If I ever chose to have anything else done in the future, I honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else. Exceptional surgeon, exceptional care, and an experience that made me feel supported every step of the way.
