I had my Labiaplasty operation with Lisa a year ago and it was the best decision I ever made. I was left with excess skin after a labour where I suffered quite a big tear through my labia which made exercise and intercourse quite uncomfortable along with this I felt very self conscious of the way it looked after giving birth. Lisa and her team made me feel totally at ease and cared for throughout the whole process. On the day of the operation the hospital staff and Lisa herself, constantly checked on me and reassured me. She used her “ZIGZAG” technique for removing the excess skin from the labia. After the operation, I went home fully prepared for the aftercare procedures I would need to follow in order to get the best results. This was all discussed, in depth, multiple times in consultations with Lisa. She stressed the importance of resting and really not doing a lot, to let the swelling go down as quickly as possible and the wounds to heal well. I really liked that (if you are happy to) Lisa can put you in touch with other patients that have had the same operation. I found this really helpful as you can discuss others personal experiences and also get some top tips on what to do whilst resting and different things to try to help the healing process. Recovery for me went really well, I listened to all the advice I was given and really didn’t do much moving around at all for the 2 weeks. The swelling calmed down pretty quickly as I used the ice packs and Arnica daily. I took it really steady after that and gradually built up the time I spent standing. A year on I am so pleased with the results from the operation. I think the ZigZag technique Lisa uses means you can barely see any scaring, I love the way it looks, so natural and pretty much back to what it looked like before childbirth. I have no problems anymore with it getting caught during intercourse and exercising is also way more comfortable. My confidence is also back to where it used to be especially when wearing swimwear in public!

Excellent treatment throughout from Mr Pleat and all the team, superb follow-up service from nurses for dressing changes and regular reviews with Mr Pleat. Would highly recommend them.
