After finishing his MBBS he worked with Lok Nayak Hospital & G B Pant Hospital, New Delhi for seven years before starting his own private practice in 1998. While in private sector he has worked with some of the most prestigious names in healthcare, like Lions Hospital & Research Centre, Moolchand Hospital, Max Hospitals, Fortis La Femme and Fortis Hospital, Vasant Kunj besides a brief stint with Apollo Hospitals Delhi and Artemis Health institute Gurgaon . Having joined private practice didn’t stop him from rendering four hours of charitable OPD every week from 1998 to 2011 at Guru Harkishan Hospital, New Delhi. He has also operated hundreds of cases for almost free at this hospital, as this was his only way of paying back the society.
