In pursuit of a good plastic surgeon, I had to shuttle between Delhi and Mumbai a number of times. Finally, I contacted a very senior and reputed plastic surgeon in Mumbai for the job, who happened to be a distant relative of mine. Unfortunately, he had stopped performing the type of surgeries I needed. He recommended Dr. Milan Doshi and asked me to visit him. When I, along with my wife, first met Dr. Milan, I found him to be the most humble, down-to-earth, compassionate, and simple human being. He made me feel very comfortable with his cool, rational, and confident demeanour. He listened to my issues carefully and immediately concluded what exactly needed to be done, which he explained very meticulously. He left me with no more questions, as by this time, I was sure I was in the safe and seasoned hands of an expert professional. At that very moment, I developed full confidence and had no doubts about choosing and finalizing my surgeon. The surgery performed by him went on to speak the rest of the story, which was beyond expectations. Moreover, despite his very busy schedule, knowing that I was an outsider in Mumbai, he went out of his way to extend his professional and personal support to make me feel most comfortable and at home. Vardaan Hospital, also called Vardaan Nursing Home, is managed by Dr. Milan's wife, who is also a doctor. I happened to meet her once and felt that she observes everything in the hospital, including the staff, very closely and meticulously. This was clearly reflected in the perfect hygiene and high standards maintained in the hospital. It was also evident in the staff members, who were very cooperative, supportive, prompt, and pleasant at all times. As for Dr. Milan, once again, I can’t resist saying that I have yet to meet another human being with such a high international stature—so perfect in his profession, yet so humble and down-to-earth.
