I recently underwent surgery for Gynaecomastia. I had asymmetry (Grade 2 on one side and Grade 3 on the other). The procedure went through smoothly, and so far I've been satisfied with the results. After years of struggling with heavy, sagging, and uneven breasts, I finally decided to undergo breast reduction surgery. Since the results would stay with me for life, I was extremely cautious in choosing the right surgeon, hospital, and city. During my research, I came across a reel by Dr. Karthik Ram on the Chennai Plastic Surgery page. From there, I explored their reels, podcasts, reviews, website blogs, before-and-after photos, as well as the detailed pre- and post-operative instructions. Everything I found was clear, transparent, and impressive. The Instagram content and podcasts also showed me how non-judgmental their approach is, something I immediately experienced during my first consultation.

In that consultation, I was examined thoroughly to check for any breast lumps, and both Dr. Karthik Ram and Dr. Sushmitha explained the surgery process, what to expect, and gave suggestions on options suitable for me. They also described in detail how my scars and wounds would heal, while being honest about the pros and cons of breast reduction. Every question I had was answered patiently and clearly. After careful consideration, I decided to go ahead with the surgery.

The pre-op guidance, surgical process, and post-op care were excellent. Throughout the journey, the surgeons and nurses ensured I was comfortable both mentally and physically. Even now, if I message the hospital about any minor concern I experience, the surgeons respond promptly, often with a voice note guiding me regarding the issue. The level of ongoing care is something I doubt any hospitals provide. I am very glad and do not at all regret my decision.

Overall, the experience has been nothing short of amazing. The results are magical, and I have never once felt like an outsider at Chennai Plastic Surgery — it truly felt like home.
