Liposuction. Excellent clinic and best doctor.

I had a Skype consultation with Dr. Stam after sending him some photos of my tummy area. He confirmed that I would be a good candidate for a tummy tuck with lipo and I booked myself in for a month later. Dr. Stam even went as far as sending us potential hotels to stay at! On the morning of the surgery, Dr Stam was very reassuring and put me at ease instantly. When I came round I was in a semi-private room And there was no pain. He made sure that the pain medication was topped up regularly also the medication to help with sickness as s result in the anaesthetic. He told me that everything had gone perfectly and that the flap had weighed 5kg! I had a surgical support on my tummy which he said I had to wear for 6 weeks and not to lie flat. The drains were removed the next day as there wasn’t much liquid in them. He checked the stitches and I was discharged to the hotel on the 3rd day. The only downside of the hospital is that the nursing staff didn’t speak much English. It was very clean. A follow up in Dr. Stam's offices showed that all was healing well and I was ok to fly home after 2 weeks. Dr Stam was always available by WhatsApp or email if we had any questions at any time day or night. The wound was healing well and I could move around much better after 4 weeks. The only discomfort was wearing the support belt all the time. After 6 months I came back for a follow up in Dr. Stam’s offices, he showed me the before and after photos which were amazing. I became quite emotional as I was finally free of the excess skin after 3 c-sections. My shape was finally as I had wished it to be. Throughout the experience from beginning to end, Dr. Stam has been compassionate, professional, clear and has surpassed all of my expectations. I highly recommend him and you will be in good hands for sure. I am so glad that I came across his profile and I even got to recuperate in lovely Thessaloniki as a bonus.

I will never get off this if I start to write. So I’ll be as short as possible. Everything from my initial consultation with the doctor was smooth. Even when I was traveling I was in contact with them via email and we were in different time zones. I could always look forward to a response from Yiota. I’m now recovering and trying all the clothes I had that I didn’t have the confidence to wear before - it’s like being a kid in a candy store! I’m very ecstatic I can’t say it enough. The job was well done by Dr. Christopoulos, Panos, the Aesthetician, Yiota, the entire team at Mediterraneo Hospital. 12 out of 10.
