I had a full facelift with upper and lower eyelid surgery, brow endoscopy, fat transfer from under the chin to the lip area and the tip of my nose and flare reduced. It cost roughly 14 000. CAD or 10 000USD I stayed across the street from both the OAS office and less than a block from the surgery clinic. Face lifts take much longer to heal than other surgeries due to the muscles, nerves and veins of the face. I stayed for 10 days to have stitches removed and ultrasound treatments. I am very happy with my results. I am very happy with my surgeon. His bedside manner and skill and all the staff that assisted me in my recovery.

I’ve been a patient twice…2019 and 2023. The first time, I got upper and lower eye lifts, lower facelifts, and chemical peel and stayed overnight with a 1:1 wonderful nurse in the room with me. The next time I got a chemical peel and wanted a neck lift, but was told during consultation that doing another lower facelift would address the neck. So, I did that again. I did not stay overnight because the staff was making so much noise in adjoining rooms that I decided it best to return to my hotel The surgeons are kind and skilled; the nursing staff were more attentive and professional in 2019, but overall fine in 2023. I felt fine caring for myself with the frequent scheduled follow-up visits with nursing and the docs, more than what you’d get in the US. Thrilled with my results. I look 100% natural, just younger, and fresher, and feel way more confident about my appearance. I’d definitely go back in a few years as needed. I trust the doctors 100%.

I have had two surgeries by Dr. Alvarenga, a Tummy Tuck 4 years ago and now a recent Facelift. I am extremely happy with the results of the two surgeries. I come to Costa Rica every year from the U.S. to visit this beautiful country and make wonderful new friends every time I come. The Staff and Dr Alvarenga are very kind, caring and extremely professional as well as the surgery centre (Asunción Surgery Center). I would highly recommend Dr Alvarenga to anyone considering plastic surgery. He is an amazing caring man and I would not consider anyone else unless he himself recommended it for some other reason.
