Breast Implant Surgery, or Boob Job or Breast Augmentation Surgery, is performed to give women fuller and more rounded breasts.  It is popular among women who have lost breast volume because of weight loss or after childbirth and breast feeding. It is also performed for breast cancer patients who have undergone mastectomy surgery, to reconstruct their breasts.

How is Breast Implant Surgery done?

Breast Implant Surgery is performed either by a fat transfer procedure to increase the volume of breasts or by making incisions and inserting silicone gel or saline filled implants to increase the size of breasts. Depending on the patient's requirements they can be inserted above or underneath the muscle tissue of the breast and be inserted through incisions made underneath the breast or under the armpit.  The surgeon should explain the benefits of each type of procedure.

CO2 LASER resurfacing at the Ottawa Clinic: My first impression of Dr. Cholé Ward was that her self-care and appearance was impeccable and her demeanour of locking eyes with me, and calling me by name inspired confidence that she would give me equal care and attention. Her credentials were self-explanatory. Maddi, her medical assistant was exceptional at initially welcoming me and subsequently helping me out of the clinic after my procedure. Nurse Lyne prepared me for and guided me through the procedure while Nurse Audrey was always there for me post-procedure with tips on skin care and advice. The loveliness of this clinic, the personnel, and the perpetual availability of both medical and nursing attention never left me frustrated that I had to deal with anything alone. It certainly was a commitment of resources, time and some discomfort, but the outcome justifies all that. I wholeheartedly endorse this clinic, the procedure and follow-up. Dr. Zorn is the most competent doctor you will find hands down. She’s been a plastic surgeon for over 40 years and has truly mastered her craft! She was head of surgery at Centenary and you can tell, she knows her stuff. She does have a wait time but she is constantly being called to surgery/the ER because she is truly the best surgeon they have. Do not trust a plastic surgeon who doesn’t have operating credentials at a hospital, there’s a reason they don’t! It’s a lawsuit/wrongful death waiting to happen. She’s honest and blunt, TRUST HER. She’s the best there is.

I had an appointment on September 1st at 8:30 am with Dr. Young. He was knowledgeable and talked me through the types of growth I had. It was benign. But I still had it removed and was talked through the local injection. In the first five minutes and that was the worst part. Then after I felt very little pain. Then Dr. Young talked me through the process and the procedure was done in twenty-five minutes.
