Dr. Norman Van Der Dussen is an absolute artist at his work! His skills and his care for the patient are truly amazing and the results of my FFS exceeded my expectations. I am 33 year old, transgender MtF, and had my FFS 12 months ago. I had my first consultation with Dr. Van Der Dussen about 16 months ago at 2Pass (now O2 clinc) in Antwerp. Initially, I consulted multiple surgeons and was sceptical with Dr. Norman Van Der Dussen because of his age. However, he was the only surgeon who did not list all possibilities at me that one can do surgically. Instead,he took my photos and drew on them while explaining to me how he will feminise my face, while conserving the geometries that identify me. Besides the overwhelmingly good reviews made me choose him. In total, my surgery took almost 8 hours and included forehead reconstruction type 3 (brow bone reduction, hair line lowering, brow lift), rhinoplasty and reduction of the chaw. Luckily,y my recovery was straightforward, fast and without too much pain (which is very different from person to person). I stayed 5 nights in the guest house at the clinic. The care was absolutely perfect and the staff very lovely. Most of the swelling around the eyes disappeared after about 5 days. My pain was manageable (barely noticeable) without pain medication after 8 days and my bruising disappeared after about 10 days. After 2 weeks I went back to work. For the first 2 months my face, especially around my jaw was a bit swollen and puffy, however not a problem to go back to work. After about 6 months the final results were visible.

Straight from my enquiry & booking, everything was smooth sailing! I opted for the next-day surgery. Any queries I had in the run-up, Cindy would respond via email or call me back within a couple of hours, and she was always very helpful. I had a video consultation with my surgeon, Dr J Parys, and he was very informative and advised me that the in face consultation would be more in-depth, which it was! I went for my in face consultation on Thursday, and my surgery was on Friday. In the face consultation with Dr Parys, we discussed my current implants, my new implants and size and any questions I had were answered. I was provided with instructions prior to surgery. The day of surgery, I only waited about 15 minutes in reception before being taken into my private room, where I was provided with aftercare and instructions to get ready for surgery. Not long after that, a nurse came in and took me upstairs and onto a bed whilst I waited for my lovely anaesthetists! (Yana and Dr Van Rhys, they were so friendly and calming!) What felt like a blink of an eye - I woke up from surgery, then after about 10/15 minutes of being monitored, I was wheeled back to my private room, where I could start to feel more human. I was provided food and drink and painkillers, and made sure I was okay to leave in my own time. When I was ready to leave, I was provided further aftercare advice and paperwork to read when I got home. I am now 4 days post-op op and I can safely say I would highly recommend the Wellness Kliniek and Dr J Parys! I know I still have a long road of recovery ahead, but as this isn’t my first time. I can safely say I am very happy with the results so far!

I saw the results of my lipo right away from the very first days. The doctor was always available for answering my questions even late in the evening. He was very detailed in the explanation, patient and nice. Her assistant was warming too, anesthesia made the operation happen without even noticing it. The price is competitive and the products are provided with the final prices as well, compared to the majority of the other clinics.
