I was nervous when I first met with Head Surgeon, Graeme to speak about my breast augmentation. He very quickly turned my nervousness into confidence with his professionalism, friendliness and advanced experience.

From the first consultation right through to the surgery and follow up appointments, I felt comfortable that I was in safe hands - the fantastic results of my surgery supported this.

The surgeons, nurses and front of house staff are all equally lovely, knowledgeable, efficient and professional.

I strongly encourage anyone seeking medical advice or surgery to go with the Melbourne Institute of Plastic Surgery.

I am so happy to be without pain

4.5 50 Plastic Surgeon Consultation

Its been five months now since Mr Damon Thomas reconstructed my thumb with a new joint and a tendon repair. I am so happy to be without pain and to be able to use a knife and fork when out for dinner, lunch and at home. The tasks I am now able to return to are too many to list here. What I do want to say is a big thank you to Damon for his skilful work in getting me back (slowly and carefully). To a point where my thumb is again useable after the damage, I had inflicted on it over the decades.

Breast Implants

Breast augmentation surgery is performed under a general anesthetic and involves creating an incision beneath the breast, around the nipple, or in the armpit. A breast implant filled with either a saline (salt water) solution or a silicone gel is then inserted through the incision.
 

Breast Lift

A surgical procedure to raise and reshape the breasts, breast lift can provide a more youthful appearance and increase self-esteem and confidence.
 

Breast Reconstruction

Through breast reconstruction, a new breast, very similar to a natural breast in form and appearance, is created as a replacement for the original.
 

Breast Reduction

Performed under general anesthetic, breast reduction surgery involves the removal of excess fat and skin. The surgeon then reshapes the breasts, making them smaller, and repositions the nipples.
 

Brow Lift

Endoscopic brow lift is a minimally invasive surgery to reduce wrinkles and frown lines in the brow and forehead area. 
 

Butt Lift

excess skin can be excised, and the remaining skin lifted and repositioned to improve the contour and appearance
 

Calf Implants

Calf implant surgery is usually performed as a day procedure. The surgeon will make an incision behind the knee and insert the implant. Patients will notice an effective difference immediately following surgery.
 

Chin Implant

A small chin may be made more prominent to restore balance by either dividing the jaw bone and sliding it forward (mandibular sliding genioplasty) or by inserting a foreign implant over the jaw bone (augment mentoplasty).
 

Cleft Lip and Palate Treatment

Cleft lip surgery, offered at the Melbourne Institute of Plastic Surgery, is typically performed when the child is about 10 weeks old. During the surgery, an incision is made on either side of the cleft from the mouth into the nostril. The surgeon will then turn the dark pink outer portion of the cleft down and pull the muscle and the skin of the lip together, closing the separation. This will restore both muscle function as well as a natural appearance.Cleft palate surgery, also offered at our practice The surgeon will begin by making two incisions in the roof of the mouth, one on either side of the gap. Tissue and muscle will then be moved from each side of the mouth and connected in the middle. With a complete palate, the child will be able to eat and speak properly..

 

Eyelid surgery

a procedure offered at the Melbourne Institute of Plastic Surgery that can tighten the skin around the eyes for a more youthful appearance. 
 

Facelift

will reduce signs of aging by repositioning and tightening the excess skin and muscles of both the face and neck to define the jaw line and diminish facial wrinkles.
 

Liposuction

we offer liposuction to patients who want to remove pockets of fat that do not go away through diets and exercise.
 

Otoplasty

The surgeon will begin by making a small incision in the back of the ear. This provides access to the cartilage, which is then sculpted to the desired shape or angle.
