He originally trained in General and Cardiothoracic Surgery in Egypt, where he has held uninterrupted specialist registration in General Surgery since 2007. He holds an MBBCh (Hons.), a Master of Surgery (Egypt), and has completed Part I of the MRCS (UK). After relocating to Australia, he obtained the AMC Certificate and undertook further clinical training. Dr Elfieshawy completed a fellowship with the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery and Medicine (ACCSM). He now focuses exclusively on procedures in the area of aesthetic surgery. His current areas of clinical practice include revision breast surgery, mastopexy procedures, deep plane facelift techniques, and procedures aimed at structural restoration of soft tissues. He has developed specific operative approaches used in his own clinical practice and participates in ongoing professional education. Dr Elfieshawy is also involved in healthcare innovation.
