At Faciem Dermatology we use a variety of methods to control this including treatment for wirnkles. This involves multiple tiny injections around the treatment areas such as the Armpits, Palms, and Soles of the feet to prevent the small sweat glands within your skin from sweating. The procedure takes approximately 45 minutes and will last 3-5 months.

Excessive Sweating Treatment from £550
People with excessive sweating (hyperhydrosis) can find quick, safe and effective relief from this embarrassing and debilitating condition with specialist wrinkle relaxing treatments. The results are noticeable within a few days and the effects can last for 6-8 months. Hyperhydrosis affects 2-3% of the UK population, to varying degrees of severity. It can be caused by neurological, metabolic, and other systemic diseases, but most cases occur in people who are otherwise healthy. A fine needle is used to inject very small amounts of the product just beneath the skin, near the sweat glands themselves. Mild chemical peels work on the superficial skin and quickly and easily remove the dead outer layer, resulting in improved skin tone and reduction in the appearance of age spots and very fine lines. Deeper and medium depth chemical peels require some healing time, but work well to reduce the appearance of deeper lines and wrinkles, and work well on acne scarring. At the Non Surgical Clinic we use TCA peels (trichloroacetic peel). By removing the superficial skin, TCA peels remove blemishes such as acne scars, correct pigment problems (melasma) and smooth out fine surface wrinkles. Treatment are relatively painless but patients can sometimes experience a slight burning sensation once the chemical is applied and it is normal for the face to turn slightly red. The treatment can be done within 15 minutes to an hour and should be repeated once a week for a month. As there is no downtime for this treatment it can be performed in a lunch time. Immediate results are seen and build with each of the four treatments completed.
