Alaxis Medical & Aesthetic Surgery was founded in 2005 by medical director, Dr Donald Ng.  Providing effective and evidence-based treatments to help our patients look and feel their best in a safe and natural way, we are a patient-centric practice that  embraces a philosophy that every one of our patients is unique and deserves a tailored approach. Dr Donald rigorously researches all treatments before introducing them to the clinic and only cherry-picks machines that are proven to work.  He is cautious of the quality of treatments provided to patients, which is why Alaxis Medical & Aesthetic Surgery employs only safe and advanced medical devices.  When we take on a patient, we take them for life. We are very mindful of how the face and body ages and this forms the basis of all our treatments. It is therefore a journey rather than a race for instant gratification. Dr Leo Kah Woon is a Ministry of Health accredited Consultant Plastic Surgeon. He graduated from Medical School at the National University of Singapore. Thereafter, he completed his Plastic Surgery training at Singapore General Hospital. He was awarded the College of Surgeons Gold Medal for his Plastic Surgery Exit Examinations for being the top candidate in his cohort. Then, he completed a one year fellowship in University of Washington, USA, under the world renowned Dr Peter Neligan where he trained in the latest techniques of breast reconstruction, reconstructive microsurgery and cosmetic surgery. Upon his return to Singapore, he served as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Singapore General Hospital and Visiting Consultant to Khoo Teck Puat Hospital. Dr Leo is very experienced in non invasive as well as invasive cosmetic facial surgery. He has frequently been invited to give lectures on the latest techniques in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He has conducted numerous workshops on toxin and filler injections. One of Dr Leo's main interest is body contouring. He has one of the largest series of Post-bariatric Weight Loss Body Contouring patients in Singapore. Another main interest of his is eyelid surgery  for the correction of eyebags or the creation of double eyelids. Within the plastic surgery fraternity, Dr Leo is currently the Secretary for both the Singapore Association of Plastic Surgeons, as well as the Singapore Society of Aesthetic (Cosmetic)Surgeons.

The Clinic is helmed by Dr SK Tan, who continues the same zeal and dedication to his work, a strict adherence to proper protocols and procedures, as well as a commitment towards using only results-oriented products that are backed up by scientific evidence.   Offering a few decades of experience the IDS Clinic promises to deliver results and client satisfaction. Known for his expertise in the treatment of pigmentary conditions (especially melasma) and acne, Dr SK Tan is also skilled in other aesthetics procedures including Botolinum toxin, fillers and various kinds of lasers. His experience includes roles as regional trained in various aesthetic procedures and devices, having trained and mentored numerous doctors locally and overseas.   Pursuit of academic excellence is also at the forefront of The IDS Clinic’s philosophy. Dr SK Tan has published several articles in prominent Aesthetic Dermatology and Dermatology journals internationally, and there is ongoing research carried out both in-house and in collaboration with international institutes. Overseas patients are welcomed by this highly trained and experienced team at their clinic located at Mt. Elizabeth Medical Centre in Singapore.
