Mesotherapy  
Mesotherapy is a treatment where in a substance is injected into the middle layer of the skin and can target various concerns. Mesotherapy treatments can be divided into either bio-revitilization, hydrating treatments which are usually used on the face, neck, decollete and also hands or as anti-cellulite treatments for localized fat deposits. The method with which the product is injected is by multiple injections.  On the face, neck, decollete and hands a topical anesthetic cream is applied 45 minutes prior to the treatment for increased comfort during the treatment. The area looks as if bitten by hundreds of mosquitoes, with tiny bumps in each injection site. This subsides within around 24 hours. The product which is injected during bio-revitilization is usually hyaluronic acid or other Vitamins. Hyaluronic acid is found naturally in our skin but it diminishes its production as time goes by. Therefore this treatment will give the skin the lost hydration. This results in a healthy glow causing fine lines to improve. This treatment is usually repeated approximately 3-4 times a year to maintain the same result. During a consultation the Doctor will be able to recommend the best ingredients to use.

Dermal Fillers  
Dermal fillers, are injected into areas of facial tissue where moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds occur. The product is based on hylauronic acid, which is an ingredient that is already found in our body. It temporarily adds and restores volume lost to the skin and subcutaneous tissues, may give the appearance of a smoother skin surface and may help smooth moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. Correction is temporary, therefore, touch-up injections as well as repeat injections are usually needed to maintain optimal correction. The results may last as long as 12-18 months.
Thread Lifting  
A thread lift can help lift the face without invasive surgery – inserting threads through small punctures to the skin which later become invisible - and can be used anywhere on the face where a gentle lifting is desired.  This procedure is best suited to patients with mild to moderate sagging of facial tissues, usually those in their mid-thirties to fifties. The areas which can be treated with a thread lift include the outer brow, the cheeks, naso-labial (nose to mouth) and lower eye areas, the jaw line for jowls, and the neck for sagging skin that is sometimes referred to as “chicken neck”. Most patients will not need all these areas treated at once, although this is possible. The results of this procedure lasts up to 2years. Common areas for treatment in younger patients are the cheeks and brows since they are the first areas of the face to start to sag. As you age the lower half of the face begins to sag as well. If there is a significant amount of redundant or sagging skin, often seen in older patients, this procedure would not be suitable and a traditional mid-face, face or brow lift operation may be recommended in order to remove the excess skin, therefore achieving a better result. The threads leave virtually no scars, are simple to insert, and have minimal down time.  Post procedure there could be bruising and slight swelling, which usually settles in a few days.
