Tonic's professionalism swayed meSteph, UK, 27 05 20

So far the service has been outstanding. Please note that i have not underwent the surgery yet, due to COVID19 restrictions. However, as soon as i registered interest i was called by Cat, and given all the information necessary. Dr Sutton then took the time to have a lengthy discussion on the pros and cons of different WLS options, answering any and all of my queries. The rest of the team have all made contact, and what i have most liked so far is the transparency and simplified documents supplied, to help me understand each element of the procedure, pre and post-op. It is a very nice feeling to know that there is a group of people who are available and welcome any questions you may have, especially when it is such a major life change. I actually had my heart set on a different clinic, but decided to shop around, and Tonic's professionalism (plus value) swayed me.

Gastric Band
Gastric Band to Bypass/Sleeve Revision Surgery £12 - £12995
Gastric band to bypass revision surgeryThere can be cases of weight regain or insufficient weight loss after a Gastric Bypass has taken place. In order to add more restriction or malabsorption, two potential procedures to consider are:• Conversion Band to bypass• Conversion Sleeve to bypass• CONVERSION OF LAPROSOCPIC BAND TO EITHER A BYPASS OR A SLEEVE - Revision Surgery • CONVERSION OF A BYPASS TO A LAPROSOCPIC BAND - Revision SurgeryIn the  case of weight regain, or insufficient weight loss, a conversion or also called revision surgery from an initial  weight loss operation to a Gastric Bypass is certainly possible. In most cases a conversion of an adjustable gastric banding to a Gastric Bypass can take place in one procedure. There are circumstances where  two interventions are necessary and this is when the gastric wall of your stomach where the band has been placed, is too fragile to form a new connection between your small bowel and that part of your upper stomach where the band was placed. Here at Tonic we understand and cater to each individual patient’s needs. We aim to support, guide and help you reach your ultimate weight goal and also offer you the best aftercare services.

Gastric Bypass from £51944
A gastric bypass is one of the techniques used in bariatric surgery and is done not only to kick-start  the weight loss process, but also to prevent or treat health problems that are associated with excess weight. Even though obesity has been prevalent for ages, only recently has it been recognised as a disease of multifactorial origin. The first attempts to treat obesity for the sole purpose of weight loss began in 1950s, when jejunoileal bypasses were done to induce a state of malabsorption (a condition when nutrient absorption is impaired). Despite reaching desired weight loss results, the procedure had too many post–operative complications to be deemed successful. The gastric bypass was developed years later, in the 1960s. The surgical technique went through numerous modifications in order to decrease the number of complications and is now one of the most frequently performed bariatric surgeries worldwide.
Gastric Band from £3547
An adjustable gastric band, often called the band, is a bariatric surgery which helps patients lose as much as 40 percent of their excess weight. It is a minimally invasive, reversible and adjustable procedure. Food consumption is decreased by placing a silicone device (the so called band) around the top portion of the stomach. Its tightness can be adjusted by inflation or deflation through a port that is placed subcutaneously in the stomach.
Gastric Sleeve from £51944
Gastric sleeve surgery, or a laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy, is a surgical procedure during which a part of the stomach is removed leaving the remaining part to function as a new smaller stomach. The stomach is an organ which functions as a temporary food reservoir and it also produces hormones, such as gastrin and ghrelin. Ghrelin is associated with the feeling of hunger. Therefore, the removal of a large portion of the pouch can favorably alter the hunger hormone production. After a gastric sleeve procedure a patient’s food intake is decreased and they feel full faster. It is a bariatric surgery, which helps patients to lose as much as 50 to 70 percent of their excess weight.

I’m so pleased with the results and would do it all over again if given the chanceJane, UK, 24 07 18

In April I went to Belgium to have my eyelid surgery done. A friend and I were doing some research on clinics and Belgium’s response rate, photos on the website, cost and general services, made it our best option. It was really good value for money. I’m so pleased with the results and would do it all over again if given the chance. The follow-up was done at their London-based surgery and I had the stitches removed there too. Downtime was only three days.

Gastric Band £3431 - £3774
In this procedure, a hollowband made of special material is placed around the stomach near its upper end, creating a small pouch and a narrow passage into the larger remainder of thestomach. The band is then inflated with a salt solution. It can be tightened orloosened over time to change the size of the passage by increasing ordecreasing the amount of salt solution. The entire procedure is donelaparoscopically, where a laparoscope is inserted through the abdominal wallthrough small surgical incisions. It induces weight loss byreducing the capacity of the stomach, which restricts the amount of food thatcan be consumed. Minimally Invasive Approach
Gastric Sleeve £5318 - £5661
The gastric sleeve is the latest weight loss procedure that shows promising results. By restricting food absorbtion and reducing hunger the gastric sleeve might be your best option. Advantages of gastric sleeve include lower cost, less dumping, fewer complications and does not require adjustments after the initial surgery. How does the Gastric Sleeve work? The vertical sleeve gastrectomy is a restrictive form of weight loss surgery in which approximately 85% of the stomach is removed leaving a cylindrical or sleeve shaped stomach with a capacity ranging from about 60 to 150 cc, depending upon the surgeon performing the procedure.
Gastric Bypass £6434 - £6820
The gastric bypass or stomach bypass is one of the surgical techniques for treating morbid obesity. Alongside purely restrictive techniques, such as gastric banding, and largely malabsorptive techniques, such as Biliopancreatic Derivation by Scopinaro, this is a combined technique. As with a purely restrictive intervention such as the adjustable gastric band, this surgery is largely a restriction of the food intake, with reduced digestion a less important factor. However, the long-term results are noticeably better than those for purely restrictive surgery. This is due to reduced food intake and a reduced feeling of hunger.
